In the tractor world I have compared and studied every specification imaginable and hands down, Kubota owns the sub compact and compact tractor market.
That's good stuff guys! The jingle egg is awesome! Congratulations on the new equipment Tim. Enjoy it and can't wait to see all the projects you will get into!
This is awesome af! I don't say much, I lurk, but believe me, your videos are not wasted on me :) I've used Tractor Time with Tim to get ideas for my Kubota in addition to Messick's, just wish I lived closer :)
It great to see this in action on tim's channel, i did wonder why he went for the smaller excavator, but it makes sense with the load rules in his state. this will get a great workout on the pond project, tractors have there place, but a excavator is better suited to this project
Great little easter egg idea, awesome info about the model number and weight estimate.... Neil, does the same / similar apply to the Volvo and John Deere equipment? i.e. model number correlating to weight class and tail swing?
That is indeed a beautiful machine! On another note can't see where you guys have made a video about the KX040-4, I know it's been out forever but the six-way blade is an amazingly versatile tool that's quite unique among all excavators. Might be worth a video!
I think I would buy a Kubota excavator, many different versions to suit your needs! But it would have to handle the rocks I need to remove from our fields!
I agree with Tim about dealerships making a person feel uncomfortable. I went to a john deere dealership in Oakland Tennessee asking for advice and give a description of my property. The salesman responded when I know what I want come back. I have been a kubota guy since
Before I bought my first Kubota in 2006 I went to a John Deere dealer. The “salesman” for compact tractors was with another customer but the owner said he would tell him I was waiting. I went on the lot to look around, went back in the building 15 minutes later to find the “ salesman “ had went to lunch. I drove to the Kubota dealer and sat down with the owner of the dealership (third generation family ownership at that location). Had a good conversation and I purchased a Grand L 3830HST. Later 2 diesel zero turn mowers and a RTV1120D. Pretty expensive lunch for them
Hey Neil, why you guys? Either there is a very poor Kubota dealer network in his part of the woods, or he has the utmost respect for Messicks as a dealer. I'm assuming the latter, having been a Messicks customer prior to selling my business. I always felt i was getting honest guidance, fair pricing, and your brother Bryan was a pretty decent guy! Just a long distance for Tim to travel and curious to the reason.
Why not put a mulch head on an excavator??? I've never heard that Neil. - - I didn't understand that comment at the end ( @16:31 ) and would like to know what you meant. Thx! (I don't own an excavator, but would love one, and thought I'd want a mulch head too...)
Power. It takes a lot to run them on an excavator, just trying to stay ahead of a potential disappointment. Flails are a lot better choice for most people.
Neil I was hoping you was going to have a video clip of Tim getting in the first time and listening to your messicks tune when he turned the key on Lol ?
Doesn’t Indiana also have rule if your just a farmer or a not for hire it can be over 26k I watched I believe it was an IDOT video wile ago this topic came up.
Yes, but as you know, everything is a ‘gray area’ it seems. If we publish a TH-cam video while on a project, and make a few pennies, is that business use?
He's giving it a heck of a work out in his pond. Great stuff!
Just bought my bx23s at Messicks last week from Nick, great guy. Bought from Messicks just because of Neil, our Kubota Jesus!
Not sure I can live up to that :-)
I bought a 1996 T1700 with a T2541 blower at an auction. I wouldn't have looked at Kubota if not for - Kubota Jesus - Neil.
Finally switching him over to orange aren't you Neil?
Nah he hates the treddle pedal lol
@@adammiddleton4037hey,!mo treadle in this machine!
Boy, the both of you really know how to work those smiles for a pose picture. America 101.

😂
I like how Kubota has a AC vent behind you and up high
Tim’s a good man, love his channel. It’s actually the only reason I’m here.
Two great channels! Thanks Neil and Tim! 😀
8:31 Nothing at all against Neal or Tim, but THIS is the real message we all need to be spreading. Keep up the great work!
Two legends! I love both channels :)
LMAO.

Neil and Tim both seem like good dudes
yes they are and so is Mike Morgan !!!!

The Easter egg was brilliant
Great little collab!
Nice to see Tim getting into that orange. Kubota is an awesome choice 👍. I own 2 Kubota tractors and I am happy
48 is the best machine imo for size to value
This is an amazing machine, my buddy has let me borrow his for the last month. Working on getting one of my own.
I've seen Tim's videos with the U48-5 but I missed him discovering the Messicks jingle easter egg. I'll have to go back and look for that.
ii have not seen it either very disappointed that it was not in this video.
He said it plays twice.
That stinkin jingle plays in my head the entire time I operate it!!!
@@TractorTimewithTim Excellllllent. The dark side is winning. :)
Hello Tim😊 great job Neil. I love Kubota I am a lifetime orange club member. 👍😀

I can't say for sure, but I believe others also do that.
Does Kubota make a drag line? After watching his pond videos he needs a drag line
Two Great Channels.!!! ✴️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✴️
Great video been watching Tim with his pond
Love both Chanels!!
Tim looks a lot better in Orange ❤

Thank you Neil and Tim, Another Great Video ❤
Salesman at the dealer steered me from a 2601 to a lx and boy am I glad that he did!
Yeah been watching Tim play with his new machine. But I haven’t heard him complain about the Easter egg bug yet I’m waiting . 😂
I’m still stewing about it.
I think I would buy a Kubota excavator, many different versions to suit your needs! But it would have to handle the rocks I need to remove from our fields!
Beautiful 😍
I’m waiting for Tim to find the jingle device you hid on his channel, 😂 too funny

How much for that used Enrossi sickle mower in the background??

Tim needs to make a new shirt, change that green to orange! 😊

Tim has family in our area and passes through pretty frequently. We've become friendly over the years. I'm glad to help him out on this kind of thing.
We really enjoy working with Neil.
As he says ‘cut from the same cloth’.
Neil shoots straight and makes these transactions easy!
I like Tim and his videos

@@MessicksEquip - really appreciated the response! I get it now. Went and read several articles! Keep up the great videos Neil!!
I'd love to see a mulching head on that machine. I have a hydraulic flail on my Bobcat 320.
Neil I was hoping you was going to have a video clip of Tim getting in the first time and listening to your messicks tune when he turned the key on Lol ?
I was too, we were secretly chasing him around with the cameras waiting for it to happen and he just didn't react.
This is pretty dam cool 🤣🤣🤣🤟🤟🤟🤟
Surprised he fits through the door. Every time I see him I think of Phil Collins from TPB.
Give him an orange shirt please!

Tim been eating some gravy
Blue, Green and now Orange
I was disappointed that we didn't get to see Tim's reaction to your little gift you left him when he turned on the key..
Oh I’m planning my revenge!
Cheeseburger Celebration!!!!
Why would anyone switch between John Deere and Kubota. They both have great equipment, some are better in green and better in orange.
🇨🇦
Bacon 🥓 Hockey 🏒👍
Neil ball park $80K?
After watching a video of him trying to dig out a lot of mud I think Tim needs a digger.
Tim better not say a bad word about Kubota ever again…😂
Oh no! I can’t agree to THAT!!!
When are you going to work with your brothers again
Neil should send him packing to the green dealer. Won’t be long he will be nit picking it to death.
Not sure on this one. I am pretty impressed so far.
Get him in a skid loader
Someone is turning from green to orange.
wrong color for t t w t lol
Blasphemy
Ha!
