Well they really did not fo much. They really were just like there.. Italy kinda just sat ther to get their asses kicked over and over till Germany saved them, On Oct. 13, 1943, one month after Italy surrendered to Allied forces, it declared war on Nazi Germany, its onetime Axis powers partner. Italy was led into the war by Benito Mussolini, the fascist prime minister who had formed an alliance with Nazi Germany in 1936.

I wish it were that simple. Pearl Harbor would have destroyed the Americans Pacific Fleet but thank god our Aircraft carriers we're not there. @@derser6 England was not at all theres. They still had to fight the Royal Navy and the Ground and attack the Island of Britain itself. Even Hitler agreed it was a suicide attack to do so and the only option was to bomb them until hes killed to many or try to reach a truce with Britain so he can destroy them later.

This is honestly an outstanding video. It's great from beginning to end. One thing ticks me off is that here it's shown that the brits were at a disadvantage in 4:26 in the battle of El Alamein, while they enjoyed an indescribable logistical and 2:1 numerical advantage. Yes, Montgomery was a sharp General, but the British enjoyed a huge advantage in the 2 battles of El Alamein, if not only the 2nd.

@FPZ it’s because some of it was inaccurate and some countries that participated in the war ( Italy, Finland, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Greece, etc) were missing
The trendy Gamer543 in all honesty, countries like Bulgaria, Romania had quite insignificant roles in the war, not saying that they were useless, however I understand where you are coming from with Finland, Italy, Greece and Yugoslavia. You have a point there.

@@reaperro8172 welp, the memes say that. In reality, it wasn't true that they did nothing. They did stuff. Lots of them. Italy was a major player in the war, and denying that is stupid. Maybe they didn't do as good as germany, maybe they were actually bad for germany, but saying that they didn't do much is wrong.

@@reaperro8172 Yeah yeah don't worry i'm not saying that you said you don't like italy, i'm just saying that yeah even tho they got their ass kicked by the british (and their commonwealth troops) saying Italy didn't do shit is wrong. The real thing is that Italy lost countless lives in the war, for a shitty regime such as Mussolini was, so it's a bit sad not realizing that. Ah yeah and i think that the landing in sicily and the italian civil war was a good point of turns in the war, not for the germans of course, but for the Allies. We can say that italians were a good asset for the Allied forces, as the partisans did really help against the nazifascist forces.
