Even if smart unlock is active, even on lock screen NFC wont work. I have to completely slide the lock screen to bring up the home screen and finally it will scan.
Is there any fix for this?

My problem on an S10+ is that I have it turned on, but when I touch it on a POS it's infinitely loading but it won't beep to actually complete the transaction.

I cleaned the cache and data, restart my phone, found that the problem is fixed (nfc not working ) and walla came back to thank you ❤

doesnt work for me. it isnt just the payment apps. it's the entire NFC. it is enabled and diagnostics says it's working, but nothing will read. it wont even ping from touching my watch, which it usually does.
it was working fine before. i am not getting any new information.
