Tip : Turn off nfc when you won't be using it. To be extra safe. NFC don't work when the screen is locked, still.

Apparently if you change address when you get a new card issued you have to wait 24 hours before it actually activates. Because atm I'm in that situation,I can't use anything until that happens or until I get my new card

If you have multiple cards stored on the GPAY, how do you know which once is used by default?
you can customize it inside the google pay to use one of the cards as default
nice and detailed, but samsung pay asks for fingerprint before swiping and auto switches off nfc too, hope g pay brings that extra authetication, so with this we can use on other phones as well
What if I have more than one cards?
I can set a default card, that is ok. But what if I want to make a payment from non-default card?
Is there any other way besides changing the default card to be used?
Im using it like this and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. It depends on the model of the NFC reader that stores have. My phone just keep vibrating and message is shown on their screen: Please scan your card
NFC feature is not enabled on my mobile but inside settings, NFC and contactless payments is enabled. Could you please let me know how to enable it on mobile.

I have other question: in stores you have blocked signal only way to get internet is their wifi which means you need internet for gpay so i can only nfc pay without Wifi ,data enabled ?
No need of data, it uses nfc to communicate the card details to the machine.

Since it's not a upi p payment so gpay may not keep track of such transactions so you need to check your bank's app.

hey bro can you help please cause i can't add my card like you said i have an sbi visa debit card but when i scanned and adding my card there show's that "can't complete setup for contactless payment" but i have enabled that nfc feature but still it shows that i have even contacted google pay and sbi they are saying that there is now issue from their side.
Did you eenable nfc payments on your card controls section?? You can also set limits. If you did that then I don't know what's wrong.

Yes, safe as long as you've a screen lock. Make sure to turn off payment on lock screen option.
For debit cards, I think only Axis and Kotak are supported.

It only works if the phone is unlocked and also in case of a lost or stolen phone ppl usually can block the cards.

The shopkeeper inputs the amount on the swiping machine and when you swipe same amount is paid.

No, because you don't have money store in credit card ( your money is at bank ) and credit card is just a tool to authentication with your bank , the only one who need internet is where you make your purchase.
Make sure you turn of nfc off when your not paying because it sucks your battery try faster than tiannma trump
