Loved the original trilogy but the new games are even better imo. The reason for that is specifically that they are a continuation of the old games. Old Kratos is such a great and nuanced character because he is the same man who once was a murdereous psycho and then grew to become a wise father and mentor in a believeable way. Thats what made the ending of Ragnarok so epic for me (even though the midgame kinda disappointed me).
Very good points! I agree with and am also glad he didn't sign back on for the series. GoW 2018 and on is easily on my top 10 and the OG series is still on my fav list
to be honest man, We really should no take David Jaffe seriously, he is a redundant and an irrelevant figure in today'e era. It is simple He is frustrated with the fact that GOW became so much more than he could have made and how big of a fan following GOW and Kratos have garnered as well. He is a sore loser whose opinion is just as good as him, btw I did agree with your analogy with Spider-Men.
I disagree fully. People act like kratos had no depth when he was seeking vengeance . People act like making him less brutal , angry and violent is evolution . Kratos is the embodiment of war and rage. His evolution was killing the gods and fulfilling his revenge and that process had depth and intricacy to it. God of war 2018 and ragnorok is NOT KRATOS EVOLVING . He devolved into something else entirely , its like his past is non existent and everything that was built up off 1-3 was vaporized . I dont want to see kratos find peace. Thats not why i play god of war games. I play god of war to be the embodiment of war . Kratos is not kratos anymore. He is the rated E version of kratos . Its like if mortal kombat dialed down the brutality and gore and all the fighters stopped fighting
God of War: Valhalla monologue where Kratos speaks to his former self literally invalidates every single point you wrote here. Y'all goofy as shit lmao
@@kingmobcollective just because you created something it doesn't mean that someone else can't take your creation and massively improve it. Kratos is the perfect example of that.
@@kingmobcollective you and David associate strength with wild and uncontrolled fury. Kratos in GoW and GoW:R is just as strong and fierce as he's always been, except his fury now is far more targeted, he's wiser and far more calculated. Instead of lashing out like a petulant kid throwing a shitfit, now he is methodical with his anger. If anything, that makes Kratos even more dangerous than he's ever been before. Just because you lack insight and play the game for the combat and brutality, it doesn't mean Kratos' character has been pussified. They took a different approach to GoW and I'm happy with it because recycling the same formula like it's Call of Duty gets boring real fast.
Haha dude is clearly salty 🤣. Kratos has evolved. Thank god he’s not running god of war
I agree I’m glad Cory is the one who’s the head of god of war currently. Make sure you subscribe if you have already

Yeah the land of the giants part kinda sucked imo but the rest of the game was a 10/10

Great Stuff 👍 :) Krato's personal growth has became one of the most iconic things in video game culture/stories. David jaffe = Snobby Artist Persona.
For real! I thought Kratos was just a cool character but these have shaped him into a PERSON and its amazing
After I saw that all I could say is my guy knows nothing about what character development is and you said the same
No the problem I have the woke shit that new Sony games point towards. As for kratos all the development he went through is completely gone.
@@anupamkumar4109well said. All his character development from 1-3 was just tossed away!!
@@anupamkumar4109 character growth is woke shit? Man, y'all goofy as fuck 😂😂
Woke lmfao 🤣🤣🤣
great video, subbed
Thanks for the sub!
I agree
Ty for watching make sure you subscribe if you haven’t
Let me put it this way. If i wanted to play as a babysitter id go play the sims
I mean you don’t baby sit at all in this game lol
Tell me you didn’t play 2018 or Ragnarok without telling me you didn’t play 2018 or Ragnarok
@@tim.noonan thats wild bro cuz i beat both of them🤣
@@kingmobcollectiveAnd you thought they were a babysitting sim? So you’re just a very un-serious person, got it 👍🏼
