I am Zawata, a regular student of QEC. In today’s class I learned about Present Tense elaborately. Although I can't even concentrate for 2 minutes. I am proud of myself for completing this video with full concentration for 52minutes. Rownak miss described the topic very briefly. Although it is a serious topic she taught with fun and I personally enjoyed it.
Below I gave some example of the topic I learned from this video:
Present indefinite : Harisha cries out of envy and sadness.
Explanation : Here the sentence expresses about harisha crying. It is a statement so we can identify it as a simple present tense. The main verb here is "cry"... We have to add 'es' cause the subject 'Harisha' is a 3rd person singular number. I added 'es' instead of 's' cause the last of the word 'cry' is 'y'. And the rest is same
Present continuous: Harisha is crying out of envy and sadness.
Explanation: Here the sentence expresses about Harisha crying right now/at the moment. So that indicates that the work or verb (crying) is continuing right now and it is not finished yet. As for the verbs, 'cry' is the main verb here. We must add 'ing' cause it indicates to that the work is continuing. Also we cannot add 'ing' without the help of auxiliary verbs. I used 'is' here cause Harisha (Subject) is 3rd person singular number. And the rest is the same.
Present perfect: Harisha has cried out of envy and sadness
Explanation : here the sentence expresses that Harisha cried not to long ago. It means that Harisha is done crying but it's impact is still there.
In perfect tense we have to use Past participle form of the main verb. The past participle of 'cry' is 'cried'. And we have to use an auxiliary infornt of the main verb. Since 'Harisha' is a 3rd person singular number so we have use 'has'. The rest is the same
Present perfect continuous : Harisha has been crying out of envy and sadness since he told her that at around 8am.
Explanation : In this sentence it tells us that work (crying) started in the past when 'he told her at 8am' and it is still continuing. It means that it is not finished yet and it started from a specific time.
In prefect continuous, we have to add 'ing' at the end of the main verb, so it indicates that the action ia still progressing.
We also have to use have/has been in present perfect continuous. It may change acc to the tense. I have used has been cause the subject is 3rd person singular number. And the rest is the same but i add a specific time to indicate that the sentence is in present continuous tense and to show that the action is still progressing and is not finished yet.

There are 3 types of tense : 1.Present ,2.past,3.future

It might be difficult to understand the use of tenses for beginners but the more we practice, the more advanced we become. For example, "I am providing you the lecture sheet in a while". A lot of people may think that this sentence is in future tense but this is actually a part of present tense.

Assalamualaikum miss. I am Anha from cadet batch. Today, I learned a lot from this video. I was a bit of perplexed. But, after watching the whole video, I finally understood. I will
explain this now, Tense indicates time of when an action is, was, or will be completed. Tenses are of 3 kinds: 1. present tense = which indicates present time 2. Past tense = which indicates past time, and lastly, 3. Future tense = which indicates future time. Present tense are of 4 types.
1. Simple present / Present Indefinite = This tense indicates actions / facts which are universal truth / habitual truth. It uses the base form of the main verb. Example = Michelle is always positive about everything. *Note* = If the sub. is in 3rd person singular number, we add s/es with the main verb. Example : It swims every Fridays. Another *Note*= To make negative we use do/does, as auxiliaries. Example = My grandfather doesn't drink black tea. *Indicators*= Often, usually, sometimes, always, every week regularly, daily, seldom, hardly, occasionally. *Structure*= Sub. + base form of verb + ob.
2. Present progressive / continuous tense = This tense indicates that an action is happening now. *Example*= Satoru is practicing his ninja technic. *Indicators*= Now, at the moment, right now etc. *Structure*= Sub. + Am/is/are + verb+ing+ ob.
3. Present Perfect = This tense indicates when an action is finished but left its impact. Example : Wara has just reached the book fair.
4. Present perfect continuous tense =This tense indicates an action which started in the past and still happening now. Example = Akihiko has been studying in New Zealand for his undergraduation since January.

Tense is a very important part of English grammar. When we have to explain the definition of tense to someone, we cannot just say that the definition of tense is time, we have to explain elaborately to them. Thus, we need to understand the classification, structure, identification, indicators and uses of tenses. I have learned that tense indicates the time of an action which brings us to the classification of tenses- present, past and future tense. These tenses each have classifications of their own. This class was mainly based on present tense. I understood the types of present tense which are Present Indefinite/Simple Tense, Present Continuous/Progressive Tense, Present Perfect Tense and Present Perfect Continuous/Progressive Tense. The be verbs of present tense are am/is/are. We can identify sentences in Present Indefinite/Simple Tense, Present Continuous/Progressive Tense, Present Perfect Tense and Present Perfect Continuous/Progressive Tense by their indicators. Their structures are also very important but we can easily learn it by going through sentences in present tense.

Basically, we learned that.Present tense is a verb tense used to describe actions or states happening now. It includes several forms:
1. **Simple Present**: Used for habitual actions or general truths.

Example: "She is walking to school right now."
3. **Present Perfect**: Used for actions that occurred at an unspecified time in the past and are relevant to the present.
- Example: "She has walked to school many times."
4. **Present Perfect Continuous**: Used for actions that started in the past and continued to the present.
- Example: "She has been walking to school for 30 minutes."
