I’m 68. When we were kids growing up my mom was a new convert and Kathryn Kuhlman was what our mom watched, “I believe in miracles and I believe in God”, was her famous saying. Kathryn Kuhlman was a sweet little old lady that loved God. Joyce is a headstrong Bible teacher that doesn’t run ahead and wait for the class to catch up, she stays with the class and includes herself in her teachings. She eats what she dishes out. Her husband Dave is the other half of the backbone of this ministry and together balance each other out and without the two there would be no ministry. After years of eating at their table I became a monthly giver, an investor in people’s lives. God bless Dave and Joyce and the multitude of people that work for and are partners of this ministry.

My problem is addiction to smoking and over eating. I pray God can stop the devil from tempting me. Amen.
You have to do your part sister. Best antidote for all your addictions is Choosing to put on audio Bible instead of having a piece of food. Go out far from all what you call comfort and home.

One thing you can do is when you're eating, close your eyes, chew very slowly. When you do that your mouth has time to really enjoy and savor the flavor. Have quality eating rather than quantity eating. You will enjoy eating rather than rushing thru it like most people do. On the smoking, think about how absolutely miserable you will be if u get lung Cancer, the suffering you will have to do. Really see yourself in this position. Think how it would drastically affect your entire life. I cannot stress what I'm saying enough. I really want you to hear me. I am fighting lung Cancer right now. I promise you, smoking is not worth it. Nothing, nothing is worth getting Cancer for, I don't care what it is. My Cancer started out in my colon, spread to my liver and lungs. It's really just a matter of coming to your senses, realizing how risky smoking is, realizing it could actually ruin your life as u know it at any given moment. Cancer is a part of Satan, it's a silent killer just like he is. Most people don't know they have Cancer until it brings about sudden disaster, such as blocking the colon. That's what happened to me. Everything in Heaven is supernatural. Most of what is being said is words of worship to God. But also, words are not needed; everything is revealed supernaturally. Thoughts are the same as spoken words. The Bible says that "preaching will cease." That's because in Heaven preaching is not needed. Everyone there is without sin, in a place without sin. Total paradise; the sun is no longer needed. All the light of Heaven comes straight from God and Jesus' own glory. Glory to God; Glory to Jesus!

I’m shocked that Joyce would preach that we should respect the worm, the devil. Respect is earned and Shaitan has not earned it. Nor can he. Jesus conquered the devil and we have the victory over the worm, through Jesus. I’ll never respect that thing the serpent.
I felt the same but I guess what she meant was that we don't take him lightly. We don't have to fear him because we fear God but we have to be aware and cautious.
