This is one of the most powerful sermons filled completely with simple and deeply profound truths to equip the body of Christ. Our lives can be transformed by the power of the anointing. But anointing can not thrive without unity and the absence of strife.

If you're stuck in anger (strife) it's because you refuse to express your sadness. Express the sadness. What did you want that you didn't get? Cry. Let that one person off the hook who couldn't give you what they didn't have. If it was you then you can forgive yourself too. Behind every sin is pride. Now go get what you wanted from someone else or yourself. If you don't get what you want you'll certainly get what you need. Don't let the sun go down on your anger. Close the door on satan. I followed Joyce's ministry for years. I'm now 75 1/2 years old. The best & my favorite teaching was a book she had called BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND! The 1st printing of it. That has stuck with me & helped me more than anything over the years. Blessings to all of you in your walk with the Lord!

I've tried to get along with my family. I listen to some of sermons and I've realized that. I've done wrong to them also. And I've asked to forgive me and they still won't accept my apology or have anything to do with me. So the one I know I know that does forgive is Our Lord Jesus and he accepts.
I need God's anointing in this area, strife, anger and unforgiveness
This message is urgently needed! So many churches are falling apart because of strife, pride, and divisions. I left my old church after twenty years because no body ever talked or called me with concern for my health! So many selfish worldly carnal Christians. Thank you Joyce Meyer for boldness honesty and real practical words that encourage me!

They hve a right to opinions but not to maliciously destroy an innocent person. I don't loose faith in God regardless of how much I get put through. God gives me peace and that is enough for me.

No wonder everything fell apart in my youth i walked and strife and spite most of the time. PRAISE GOD for his ability of new life. AMEN.
Admitting i was wrong was a good start. It's hard to fix something when you cannot see to fix it. I like to think the older I get the wiser I become through GOD'S mighty love. I need to pray more, but do my best to read the Bible EVERY DAY. Those who seek will find, and I'm assured you can find a way out.
Still Joyce listed a few good things, the under current was really my biggest problem. Plus in those days GOD told me to not take offense to people. Most of them don't mean the hurt that we bare. So lastly forgive: GOD, others, and yourself was key. Thank you for asking. Humbly I'm glad to have helped.
@Christine just know there is hope. You are looking in the right area if you want a transformation in your life. My issues were the same as you: hurts, disappointments, failures perhaps if your like me. I cannot tell you it will be over night. Still Christ is the way, I encourage you pray, and pour your heart out to GOD. When I said admit it, go to HIM, he cares and is listening, the most powerful changes are in private. Also Christ didn't walk his journey alone. You will need some solid friends, typically in a church setting. However if your independent. Remember when you pray to be still, meaning in order to hear from GOD you must quiet your worried, pains, and anything bothering you. My mother always told me 5 minutes alone with GOD is way better than all day by yourself. If I had know we were going to discuss this I would have tried to find a scripture or two that helped me out. Are you a believe in Christ Jesus?
@Christine I understand, and that's why you need to find a trusted person. The Holy Spirit can be used from anyone. Which is why I'm taking the time to try and help. Gratitude leads to a very grateful life. The LORD delights in it. Some times if I don't have any prayers, praise GOD will ignite your faith. It why we were created. Christ said many times due to your faith your made well. We have to meet Him halfway in our belief, because he is the perfecter of our faith, he is the author of our lives, he is our savior, he is our comfortor. Just remember there is a scripture in John it says HE is the branch and we are the vine apart from him we can do nothing. You sound like a wonderful person, so don't let life weigh you down. GOD has a purpose for you, and these issues are very temporary, and praise GOD because he is eternal.
@Christine one last thing, I cannot promise I can dedicate all my time today on this. If you reflect, focus, and understand GOD'S love and goodness, you can over come anything this world can throw at you. I know I'm long winded. Still have a great day, and GOD bless.
@Christine there is a scripture Romans 8:31 if GOD is for us who can be against us. The enemy wants you broken, hurt, and lost but Christ Jesus says I am the truth the way, and the life.
John 10:10 the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but GOD wants us to have life and to the fullest. Alright ^_^ now have a good day.

Thank you, Joyce. It has been a long time since I've heard you teach. This message was timely & needed for my home. Years ago, I had a cassette series you taught on strife. You talked about a demon of strife in a home that burned down after the husband & wife were in strife.
I've only recently started to communicate with my older brother, Dennis. He was the " oldest, and the ONLY BOY" of his younger(4) sisters. My parents ALLOWED him to talk like this...!!! Which bothered the HELL out of the oldest sister,. Val. Dennis and Val fought constantly...!!!! I grew up in a " war zone " because of the strife between those two...!!! I've prayed for and am actively working on forgiving Dennis ; I'm almost there. But Val has been ESTRANGED from the rest of the family for well OVER 40 something years...

I don't like conflict at all, and it makes me feel uncomfortable but I realize that I need to stand up and shut down strife when I see or hear it. It is extremely destructive and it spreads like wildfire if goes unchecked. Again, thank you for this powerful message. I will study and memorize Ephesians 4:29-31 and put it into practice every day "Let no filthy talk be heard from your mouths, but only what is good for building up people and meeting the need of the moment. This way you will administer grace to those who hear you. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, by whom you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, quarreling, and slander be put away from you, along with all hatred." Dear Lord, Jesus, please forgive me for so many times I remain silent when I witness strife situations in my life, please help me to stand up for truth and speak grace to all who hear.
