    Hey Wayne thanks for this. I appreciate you taking the time to share this. It confirmed what I thought but I sure wasn’t positive how to do it!

    Thank you Wayne, for taking your own time, for no other reason than to help another in need. You're a wonderful person who has helped reinstill my faith in humanity at a time when the media would have have us believe most people are a bunch of self-concerned jackasses.

    Wayne, Thanks for all the videos. Do you ever sell any of the "take off" parts ? such as sweater baskets?

      I don't fully understand what you are saying or asking.?
      If your cart still has the obc, only the pd chargers will work unless you have a charger that would clamp onto the battery posts.
      Also use jumper cables from one cart to yours to get charger to kick on.

    How do you confirm without a doubt that your batteries are just no good and need to be replaced?
    I charged one 8 volt battery for 10 minutes (because i was afraid of blowing it up) with a 12v charger and it got to around 5.6v but it kept dropping after removing the charger...did it need more time charging or is that a sign that the battery is no good?

      Sounds like they are no good. The idea is to charge each one individually, like you tried, but 1 after another, then hopefully they hold enough volts until your cart charger an take over. But yours sound like goners.

    i am anew owner of a "gas" powered golf cart and after using it for about 4 days it stopped and would not start? i believe it just drained the battery due to continuous stopping and starting on small tasks. Not sure how to jump start it? All videos on you tube show electric carts only, with multiple batteries? Not sure what steps to take? Any help appreciated..

    How do you properly connect 6 trojan batteries in a ego golf cart

    • @waynemartin.waynesgolfcart4900
      @waynemartin.waynesgolfcart4900  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They hook up to each other in series, positive to negative from 1 battery to the next. That should leave you with 2 empty terminals , 1 on each of the end batteries. These 2 terminals are the mains that hook to the cart.

      Charge each battery individually with a car charger

    • @macknumber9
      @macknumber9 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wouldn't the golf cart charger see the actual low charge when you remove the jumper cables causing the charger to shut off?
      Should you leave it jumped for a certain time?
      I imagine that if let's say you have a charge of 10 volts total...you jump 36 volts over and now your charger sees 46 volts and proceeds to charge...then you remove the jumper cables and you go back to 10 volts wouldn't your charger just shut off due to the low voltage?

      @macknumber9 once the charger kicks on, it should stay on and charge the batteries. If it kicks off, then the batteries are too low or no good.
