How to make Kapkan the BEST DEFENDER in Rainbow Six

Something to add to this is channeling your enemies.
If there’s a split (like trophy on Chalet) then barricade one door and trap the other. Have them take the path of least resistance to hit a trap.
Additionally, don’t put traps too close to each other because as soon as they hit one, they become wary of the next few doors before their goldfish brain forgets.

@@br0dyy Trophy Room (First floor) under Terrace (Second floor). I’m not sure what’s the most popular call outs as I had to Google this. (We call Terrace green house)
But yeah, any split will do. Seems safer to go through a unbarricaded door than to waste time/utility/sound breaking a barricade.

Amazing change to kapkan, I love how it drastically reduces the preparation time.
You used to have to run around everywhere to get them all down in time safely. Doesnt leave anytime for reinforcing walls unless your super duper prepared.

I usually do garage wars and when I'm frost or Kaplan I run away so they don't know there's frost traps and kapkan traps,

honestly i played kapkan when traps would instakill any operator with the laser visible.
I MADE SO MANY KILLS WITH THAT i'd put them on the 3rd floor even if the objective was in basement, they were afraid to run or enter in any rooms because of that but after the update it doesn't work anymore and the traps kill dropped drastically.
I love more the old kapkan he was way more dangerous than now

What I do with Kapkan is put 2 on a door and I shoot at the people (enemies) and bait them towards my double kapkan setup. Never fails to succeed.

I think they should go back to being lethal, but less available.
Since either you put them all on a few doors to kill like the old style, or 1 on 5 different doors at which point you're just playing a more clunky Lesion

theres a bug with the sneezes. when you put it the right timing, you could "stack" 2 sneezes with 1 inside the other. this makes it less visible and twice lethal.
