Forreal, i feel elixir smells like the drydown of leparfum with a mildly added honey note. They got lazy imo. To me its more like parfum intense, without the intensity lol
I get a totally different scent for both aside from some slight similar differences in the JPG DNA. Elixer is 2x more sweeter especially freshly sprayed and stays sweet during the duration. Vanilla is more sirupy compared to Le Parfum. You get also the honey and tobacco in the dry down. Le Parfum more mature scent. The Vanilla is more powdery and also you get some Iris lipstick scent to it. Cardamon is nice with the lavender. More mature scent and less sweet than Elixer. Dry down though is wayyyy better on you though compared to freshly sprayed. Both are different for me. Elixer is def strong and sweet and just the scent is strong it hits you in the face vs le Parfum also Le Parfum as well just not as sweet but the dry down is very complex and elegant. Idk Elixer can be worn all year round same with Le Parfum. Good combo in the rotation.

The problem isnt just the sweetness but they literally are just 2.0 versions of the priors. No unique twists, not even true elixirs. Truest elixirs ive tried so far are Dior and Boss Bottled

This 100% describes my experience with le parfum. It was given to me as a bday present last August. At first i was a bit underwhelmed. Ffwd to now, and i realize how easy of a reach this one is. Besides a hot summer day, this juice is extremely versatile, day or night, spring,fall winter, this can be such an easy dumb reach. But better than your basic blue fragrance such as sauvage or ysl y. And the quality is another topic, so smooth, not screechy or rough around the edges. Good review bro 👍🏼 👌🏻

Same, just sold my bottle of Elixir. It has a lot of frosted sweetness in the base that becomes too much after several hours. I wish it was an earthier, woodier base.
I bought elixir as soon as it came out. I’m was a little dissapointed to begin with because le parfum was such a good release a few years earlier. But it has grown in me so much. Now I adore the stuff
I prefer the scent of Le Male Le Parfum to the Le Male Elixir. My only problem with Le Male Le Parfum is its weak projection. I don’t think I can smell it after 1 hour unless I put my nose close to my skin. That’s so disappointing for me since I actually love how it smells. I wish it performed like the Elixir 😢
Andy I get the same performance but its there on me because I'll get wafts of it later in the day and compliments as well. Don't be afraid to spray a little heavier this is meant to be a more intimate fragrance.

bro i went into a clothing store today and the woman working there absolutely loved this scent on me. she asked me what fragrance i was wearing and i told her JPG but couldn't remember the exact name. i asked her if she likes it and she was like "yes! 🤗☺🤭" , visibly enamoured. Shortly afterwards she brought it up again and wanted to know what it looks like. so i searched it up on my phone for her and showed her the bottle. she was all giddy and flirty. insane effect!
Le Parfum blindsided me, how good it is. I wasn’t a fan of the OG or Ultra Male, so I viewed it with circumspect, testing it on skin here and there. But then I found it’s scent and wearing experience so unique that I now consider it a modern masterpiece. It’s a versatile, additive scent profile, and the silage/projection is perfect for me. I get wafts of it the next day, and nothing lasts on me. To me, high ART disguised as a frag for the masses. I liked the sample of Elixer, but will buy only for a deal. Elixer is good, but Le Parfum is really an exceptional fragrance, imo.
I completely agree with you, I prefer le parfum over elixir. I own both n I don't get the hype for elixir. Although I do wish le parfum pushed out a little more. It lasts like 12hrs+ but as a skin sent, so I go crazy with the sprays, but I got the 200ml so I'm good
Agreed... Le Male Le Parfum is a true masterpiece. Just so refined and the oriental notes are amazing in the dry down. I own Elixir for when I want something slightly more sweet in the Spring/Fall, but if I had to have just one, it'd be Le Parfum for its versatility and class.

I completely agree with you. Le Parfum is something so special and unique (despite everyone saying it isn’t unique), and it’s so versatile too. I remember one time I wore it to the gym at 08:00 on a Saturday morning, and it was February so it was a bit cold and I could smell every note in it so nicely. I smelled the iris and the woods and some white musks, with the vanilla at the bottom, it was charming. I must insist that you try on Ultra Male, but I mean really try it on, say a week or two. Ultra Male is the masterpiece, it evokes a feeling of euphoria and enchantment.
Ordered Le Male Parfum full bottle blind. Amazing. Didn’t care for the original Le Male but my tastes have changed. Got a sample of the elixir and it just didn’t do it for me. The elixir Leans more in the one million flankers line for me. Which isn’t a bad thing, I’d rather have one million lucky than the elixir and stick with the Parfum.
Might pick up a back up. Le parfum is very popular all of a sudden and is out of stock everywhere. Found a 75 ml on sale, will definitely pick it up 🎉😂. Reminds me of Armani code, hence I love it loads. Haven’t gave it much love recently as I’ve been wearing others but need to start using this more.
I’m not a huge fan of any JPG. I bought elixir and it was ok at best. With that said my wife and all of her friends love it. I’m married so I wear scents more for myself. Ones that I enjoy like Aventus, Herod, or Oud Wood.

Le Parfum is too situational for me; although I'll love every second of it, I can only see myself wearing it at night during fall and winter, whereas I'd wear the Elixir all day every season except summer. They're both fantastic; the Elixir has more depth, versatility, and freshness, but the Le Parfum is more relaxed, sensual, and intriguing. Are they redundant? No, I don't think they are. But should you get the Elixir if you already have the Le Parfum? No, I don't think you should; not unless you absolutely love the Elixir.
Yep, all personal taste. I really like the sweetness of the Elixir, and only because it's a honeyed sweetness. If that honey wasn't in there, or if it was sweet in the way Ultra Male is, I would definitely prefer the Le Parfum. I'm also in my mid 20s, so I'm sure that's playing a factor in my taste; I'm sure I'll prefer the Le Parfum as I get older.

Great video brother, while I’m not a fan of any J.P.G frags. I do have to say that you hit it dead on about all the “ hype beast” flankers. Last year was the “ Le Parfum” this year it’s the “ Elixer” . I think some people just have to have the latest and greatest, while some of us buy fragrances because we actually like them.
Absolutely agree Bob. I’m all for if you smell it and like it no problem but it’s like just because it’s new all of a sudden it’s the best thing to ever happen to fragrances.
Okay.... I'm well versed in the line of jpg, Paco rabanne, ysl, etc. Le parfum was my favorite in the line before I smelled & got the elixir on my skin. It is amazing! I went looking for it at Dillard's probably a month before it even arrived at the store, so I didn't need persuading. I have the 4.2oz bottle. First off, I love gourmand scents. Mercedes-benz club black & Azzaro the most wanted are two of my top favorites.

Agree completely, the new releases have been disappointing to say the least. Ultra male is a guilty pleasure. Le Parfum is great but I prefer the original personally in the same way I would take a light colored suit over a dark one. Elixir is an absolute no. I love vanilla but I hate the thick sweetness. Instead I reach Givenchy Pi which I absolutely love. I get Le Parfum vibes from Versace's The Dreamer. Yes, it smells different but it's the same mood/style for me.
i found that this fragrance fit me with the masculine woody base but still had some sweetness to it i found it to be a good fit for me rather than sophisticated

I've just never been a fan of JPG. I find most of them too sweet. I think this one is less sweet but also leans unisex. Most unique of the flankers, but I rarely wear it(20ml sample). I haven't smelled the elixir
I have the OG ultra male and le male le parfum,I tried a sample of the elixir in a test strip and took it home I really like to know how it’s going to be after an hour not 5 mins,I found the opening of elixir to have this strong opening almost quite fresh considering it’s a sweet scent,after an hour lapsed the dry down was really nice first thing I got was the dna of the le male le parfum and a hint of the freshness from the opening the sweetness definitely dies down after time its a great scent but if you already have the le male le parfum this would be redundant,once I finish my bottle I will get the elixir and see how it goes
For the past week ive really been struggling to pick between one of them, im getting interested in fragrances so i don't know how any of them smell, i plan on getting the 9pm one in a few days, im looking to bring elixer or le parfume but i really can't decide, i have seen a ton of videos saying how le parfume is more masculine and elixer is more sweet but you also get alot more smell than le parfume, does that make it better? Im 17 and i want that sort of proper masculine fragrance thats just going to boost my confidence and get compliments so i think im now 75% leaning towards le parfume and btw if elixer is too sweet wouldn’t that slightly be abit feminine or zesty? I just want a proper fragrance but as i said ive never smelt any of these so you can say its a blind buy, can someone help me out?
Gerard, I love Le Male Le Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier. It is the BEST in the Le Male line and better than the new Le Male Elixir. We are on the same page with this fragrance. The latest fragrance release is not always the best. I think that Le Male Elixir is being over hyped. By the way, I love Armani Code Eau de Parfum & I think that it is better than the 2022 release Armani Code Parfum. I am sure that there will be an Armani Code Elixir later this year or early next year. These fragrance houses are so predictable. Every popular fragrance will have an Elixir release. I am expecting an Elixir version of BLEU DE CHANEL, YVES SAINT LAURENT Y, Acqua di Giò, DOLCE&GABBANA The One, AZZARO The Most Wanted, VALENTINO Uomo Born in Roma, Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb, VERSACE Eros and many more.
So as far as seasons go fall & summer day time are topically toilets?…. And the parfume are topically for the fall/winter evening time?……or is it the notes that decipher weather fall spring summer day time night time?…… I’ve been kind of confused on that.
There really are no hard and fast rules but I would say notes lend themselves to seasons as opposed to concentration. Citrus, florals, woods are usually ideal for warmer weather while sweet fruits, vanillas, amber, resins and incense for cooler days and nights. Again if you like it , wear it whenever but sometimes sweet fragrances can be a bit too much on really hot days.
Le male imo is a bit bubble gummy powdery leaning kinda femine. A woman could were it and people would think its perfume. Its still great though, perfect for the night out. Cuba gold is kinda similar, but seems a little more masculine and synthetic, but weaker juice overall. Le Male Parfum is Great, but bordline unisex. Definitely wasnt disappointing when I blind bought the 6.7 oz for 100$ on ebay. This one is meant for night time. Less sprays is more with this one too.
Trying to get a better idea of which types of fragrances I should be using seasonal and daytime nighttime and also the strength of the smells how long they last and all that stuff
I want to get my one and only all rounder frag, currently using Ferragamo F Black. I smelled Sauvage EDP and I want that sexy versatility even in high heat. Can Le Parfum fullfill that versatility as my signature scent even in high heat?

I think Elixir will have you covered for many situations especially cool weather. The only other scent profile you might want to explore is something than is more office or school friendly which will be something fresh, bright and clean smelling.
When i first got into fragrances the black physique bottle was a stand out in my mind but after smelling the og i didnt bother, now ive come full circle and have a sample on, its weak but it smells just right, yet strangely enough its sold out ecerywhere in shops and online.. why.. discontinued on me dammit, ive sampled the elixir and meh, im willing to spend the money on le parfum but i cant buy it lol

Great video brother, while I’m not a fan of any J.P.G frags. I do have to say that you hit it dead on about all the “ hype beast” flankers. Last year was the “ Le Parfum” this year it’s the “ Elixer” . I think some people just have to have the latest and greatest, while some of us buy fragrances because we actually like them.
Absolutely agree Bob. I’m all for if you smell it and like it no problem but it’s like just because it’s new all of a sudden it’s the best thing to ever happen to fragrances.

Okay.... I'm well versed in the line of jpg, Paco rabanne, ysl, etc. Le parfum was my favorite in the line before I smelled & got the elixir on my skin. It is amazing! I went looking for it at Dillard's probably a month before it even arrived at the store, so I didn't need persuading. I have the 4.2oz bottle. First off, I love gourmand scents. Mercedes-benz club black & Azzaro the most wanted are two of my top favorites.
That makes sense that you like the sweeter fragrances of you like the club black and the most wanted. I love club black.

Agree completely, the new releases have been disappointing to say the least. Ultra male is a guilty pleasure. Le Parfum is great but I prefer the original personally in the same way I would take a light colored suit over a dark one. Elixir is an absolute no. I love vanilla but I hate the thick sweetness. Instead I reach Givenchy Pi which I absolutely love. I get Le Parfum vibes from Versace's The Dreamer. Yes, it smells different but it's the same mood/style for me.

I've just never been a fan of JPG. I find most of them too sweet. I think this one is less sweet but also leans unisex. Most unique of the flankers, but I rarely wear it(20ml sample). I haven't smelled the elixir

I have the OG ultra male and le male le parfum,I tried a sample of the elixir in a test strip and took it home I really like to know how it’s going to be after an hour not 5 mins,I found the opening of elixir to have this strong opening almost quite fresh considering it’s a sweet scent,after an hour lapsed the dry down was really nice first thing I got was the dna of the le male le parfum and a hint of the freshness from the opening the sweetness definitely dies down after time its a great scent but if you already have the le male le parfum this would be redundant,once I finish my bottle I will get the elixir and see how it goes
I think If I got more of the le parfum in the elixir I would be more impressed with it.
For the past week ive really been struggling to pick between one of them, im getting interested in fragrances so i don't know how any of them smell, i plan on getting the 9pm one in a few days, im looking to bring elixer or le parfume but i really can't decide, i have seen a ton of videos saying how le parfume is more masculine and elixer is more sweet but you also get alot more smell than le parfume, does that make it better? Im 17 and i want that sort of proper masculine fragrance thats just going to boost my confidence and get compliments so i think im now 75% leaning towards le parfume and btw if elixer is too sweet wouldn’t that slightly be abit feminine or zesty? I just want a proper fragrance but as i said ive never smelt any of these so you can say its a blind buy, can someone help me out?
I actually enjoy the sweetness in elixir but the le parfum is better in my opinion. It’s also more versatile and you can wear it in more situations.

Gerard, I love Le Male Le Parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier. It is the BEST in the Le Male line and better than the new Le Male Elixir. We are on the same page with this fragrance. The latest fragrance release is not always the best. I think that Le Male Elixir is being over hyped. By the way, I love Armani Code Eau de Parfum & I think that it is better than the 2022 release Armani Code Parfum. I am sure that there will be an Armani Code Elixir later this year or early next year. These fragrance houses are so predictable. Every popular fragrance will have an Elixir release. I am expecting an Elixir version of BLEU DE CHANEL, YVES SAINT LAURENT Y, Acqua di Giò, DOLCE&GABBANA The One, AZZARO The Most Wanted, VALENTINO

So as far as seasons go fall & summer day time are topically toilets?…. And the parfume are topically for the fall/winter evening time?……or is it the notes that decipher weather fall spring summer day time night time?…… I’ve been kind of confused on that.
There really are no hard and fast rules but I would say notes lend themselves to seasons as opposed to concentration. Citrus, florals, woods are usually ideal for warmer weather while sweet fruits, vanillas, amber, resins and incense for cooler days and nights. Again if you like it , wear it whenever but sometimes sweet fragrances can be a bit too much on really hot days.

Yes 100%. Easy wear for both. I wear it more at night but its more versatile than that.
Le male imo is a bit bubble gummy powdery leaning kinda femine. A woman could were it and people would think its perfume. Its still great though, perfect for the night out. Cuba gold is kinda similar, but seems a little more masculine and synthetic, but weaker juice overall. Le Male Parfum is Great, but bordline unisex. Definitely wasnt disappointing when I blind bought the 6.7 oz for 100$ on ebay. This one is meant for night time. Less sprays is more with this one too.

Its not one I would personally wear in high heat. Its a little powdery and sweet.

I think Elixir will have you covered for many situations especially cool weather. The only other scent profile you might want to explore is something than is more office or school friendly which will be something fresh, bright and clean smelling.

When i first got into fragrances the black physique bottle was a stand out in my mind but after smelling the og i didnt bother, now ive come full circle and have a sample on, its weak but it smells just right, yet strangely enough its sold out ecerywhere in shops and online.. why.. discontinued on me dammit, ive sampled the elixir and meh, im willing to spend the money on le parfum but i cant buy it lol

Le Parfum is dry and powdery. The Elixir is the same just a sweet and stickier version so they just exchange the dryness out of it.
