Beautiful. I love that they changed their packaging. I loved the tiny pots, but the new packaging is so much more user friendly. I think the Sephora #18 brush looks like a dupe brush for the one they sent you. I find it works great with cream shadows and I've been using it my RdF eyeshadows.
does the #18 apply well with the RDF formula? is it a stiffer or softer brush tip? does it apply color more sheer or saturated? i was looking at it but the RDF one was so cute i wanted to try it first. 🥰 so far i get best application so far with a stiffer silicone tool but i’m also still practicing!
@@TheHoodedLid You know what's funny though -- I *don't* like the new packaging. I know -- I'm odd, but I had no issues with the small pots. I used a pencil brush and all went fine. I could also get my finger in them if I wanted (I'll definitely be saving my original pots.)
Oooh I hadn’t heard of this brand. Those eye pots are so cute and that lavender shade ‘Flora’ is totally gorgeous. You have really made me fall in love with lavender colours on my eyes lately 😊
The larger one is 14kt gold and I bought it a few years ago - but if you do a google search I'm sure you could find something similar. The smaller beads are from Mejuri - also from a few years ago.
I found something like the 14kt gold, in fact, I think it's the same, but the price is better than what I paid! I can't link in comments - so check my description box where I added a link!
I love their aesthetic, it is so me, but I keep reading that these shadows crease quickly. Of course you can prime, but I'm a "one and done" person and that means I need things to be simple. Anyone have experience with these creasing or not?
i can experience creasing but it’s not noticeable with the lighter colors so i don’t mind. the darker colors i see it more but i am also more generous with my skincare beforehand so if i set it with powder first or lightly dust it after it would be less. they’re easy to blend out if the creasing does happen but the glossiness on the eyes just leaves a beautiful effect that i like the edge it gives if that makes sense 😂 they also don’t irritate my eyes even after an entire day of wear. unfortunately most powder shadows still do 🙈 if you need budgeproof a liquid shadow might be easier. but i do love the magical sparkle this formula has.
Well, yes, they can crease, but that is part of the aesthetic. You can prime and or powder, but I chose not to. It's an 'undone' look. (Not the 'drag' looks we recently went through with McGrath, Denona, Huda, etc.) It's very easy to just tap it out if it gets too creased.
100% agree. To me it turns into a bit of a slept in look with the darker colors. I really don't mind it - but they will tap out. I've also found it I use a larger brush in the new packaging and do one sweep - I'll get less product, a more sheer application, and the creasing is much less to zero
@@TheHoodedLid nice! i liked how you demoed the color being worked in more too. i adore the older jar for aesthetic so have gotten some more before they all change but i know the larger ones will offer more versatility 🤪
Good news that RdF have better packaging now. Thanks for sharing these Kiki. They ARE beautiful!
Thanks for watching!
Gorgeous! Rituel de fille : I didn't know it... beautifull colors!

Gorgeous! I’m so glad they repackaged these! RdF is one of my favorite indie brands.
I'm delighted, too!
Big improvement on the packaging!
Huge!
I nabbed these three and I love them! Especially the lavender "Flora" -- just stunning!
Flora is very special - but I love it with Fauna the best

I think lavender on the eyes is just dreamy. I used to have a Bobbi Brown shade that was so special!
Gorgeous look on you!! 😍
Thank you!
I think that’s such an improvement in packaging!
I love these! Thx❤
All three look so pretty on you, are they all shimmery?
The shades I have are - I'm not sure if they have any shades that are matte...
Hello! I love the brushed gold jewelry that you have on in this video! Do you know who is the maker? Thank you!

Now that the packaging has changed…I may repurchase. Hated the old packaging…
Agree - the old packaging made it difficult - for me, this is best with fingers and now I can get my fat little fingers in there!
I did, too
Those look so pretty on you! I just ordered the lavender and champagne color with the brush! Can’t wait to play with them! 😊
Yay! I hope you love them! Nice to "see" you again - seems like it's been a few weeks!
@@TheHoodedLid - good to “see” you too. BTW…my boy tears is great in the inner eye.
The taupe shade looks very beautiful on you. I wish i ordered this shade too i have bought the new apis. ❤🥰
It's really lovely!
These are beautiful. Thank you 😊
These are so beautiful. ❤
Such gorgeous colors!
i’ve been really enjoying this brand! especially the eye soots. still practicing how to use the brush but i always have success with a silicone tool 😍
I love the Flora color. I may have to make it mine. :)
They're so pretty!
❤️❤️❤️
