Such a spectacular view overlooking Taal Lake. If we were just listening and not looking at the video, we could have mistaken you for a Filipino. By the way, the Filipino thick hot chocolate drink is made from tabliya or tablea, tablets of pure ground roasted cocoa beans, dissolved in hot water and milk, it’s a Filipino version of Mexican Champurrado.
Present again. Wow! Really enjoying your videos.
So much fun, we’re so happy when you’re enjoying our food!! Have fun n stay safe/ healthy!!! 👍🥰🙏🙏🙏
KURT, i am glad you had a good taste of some Filipino delicacies. I hope you really like them. I look forward to the time i and my family will dine at Dahon at Mesa. Thank you for sharing.
Mmmm ang sarap mong kumain! I’m salivating here, I missed my homeland foods with the amazing view, here will just be the wall paintings. How’s overall rating?
Nice vlog Kurt...good to see you eating at our friends resto...you should try their sister resto called pamahaw there at tagaytay too but it doesn't have a view like dahon but they have great food and more modern look...enjoy the Philippines 😊Philippines Philippines
Good timing for this vlog. We're actually planning on doing a quick breakfast trip to Tagaytay in a couple of weeks and Dahon at Mesa is our target. Although, based on your last couple vlogs it's been raining in Tagaytay. That'll be a damper on the whole experience, so we'll see.
Hi Kurt, Filipina here in Australia. Loving all your vlogs ❤️ and I'm now one of your growing subscribers. As you are now a food vlogger and if you still have time, I saw terrific reviews about Vikings in SM Makati- Buffet/ Smorgasboard. High end food / meals. Enjoy and more videos please. Take care 💕🙏
You should try RSM buffet lunch for 1,195 pesos if you really want to taste a lot of Pinoy main dishes or ulam. Most of the restaurants in Tagaytay serve group meals worth at least 400 pesos. So I think as a solo traveller, if you want to taste the main dishes at once without breaking the bank, RSM is the best choice for Pinoy buffet food. It’s along that area as well. Actually, i just went there today 🙂 They serve lunch until 3pm.
Wow you don't sound American when you're talking to the waiter. Its amazing! Some Americans who learned Tagalog have the American accent. If you stay a year you'll probably master the country's language. The food looks good. I like calamari and want to try the chocolate with I forgot the name of the combinations. I love mango shake. I heard Philippines has the sweetest mango in Asia. Wow! Good food!
Great video! You got your food late because they prepared the Bistek Tagalog from scratch. Bistek requires long cooking time to make the beef tender. If you got the Bistek fast that would be a red flag they already prepared earlier and just heated it. There are many other dishes that are faster to prepare, Jerome should have explained that.
Kurt, in your other life, you must have been a Pinoy. LOL! You're legit, speaking in Tagalog like a real native. Like when you said to the waiter, "thank you, ha?"...
Please watch my other vlogs po! Thank you so much! 😍

Mmmm making me hungry the way you describing it
One of my favourite too the Bistek Tagalog (actually it’s the beef steak version from the Tagalog region)
Suman is a steamed rice cake. In this case, flavored with ube halaya (jam made with milk), and wrapped around leche flan.
Napaka galing! When you were ordering that was 🔥
Wala bang Tawilis? Sana makatikim ka ng Fried Tawilis.
sana all naka polo! hahaha
Leslie's and Alfonso's are also good places to go and eat. Try them.
Mmmm ang sarap mong kumain! I’m salivating here, I missed my homeland foods with the amazing view, here will just be the wall paintings. How’s overall rating?

Haha kadate ako! Me 😆😆😆
Dude, love the shades 😎
Suman + chocolate is the best! Especially if you dip the suman on the chocolate kuya!
as soon as you zip the cholate after you bit into the suman i knew you are already accustomed to filipino food. haha
Nice view sir Kurt

Hello kuyakurt..im from tagaytay
Ganda ng view mo Kabayan Kurt. The crater of the volcano is the center flat part of the island, not the one that looks like a volcano.
Your order was Chicharon Bulaklak but was given Calamari!
Yum 😋

If you are still in the Tagaytay area, recommend Balay Dako.
By the way, I saw you in Eat Bulaga recently. 🥰🥰🥰
Kurt, in your other life, you must have been a Pinoy. LOL! You're legit, speaking in Tagalog like a real native. Like when you said to the waiter, "thank you, ha?"...
