I work on schools and hospitals. Plumbing and the hydronics. I don't mind propress. Soldering with a b tank is just more fun lol. Makes the day go by. And get something nice for my sister.... hmm do you sell the wax strips you use to wax your arms with? Lol
What if you have a leak on those close connections. Can you just remove the fittings, and put a new one on? Not Familiar with ProPress. When I did Solder and Brazed Copper joints, I always left enough room between fittings to rework, in the future.
$1000 bucks to service a pro press? I know I can repair one. For such a low tech device. They certainly are over charging for the tool and the accessories.
No way id allow a plumber to use some dumb crimping nonsense in my house. Sweat and solder the lines, like a professional, so it can be repaired in the future if need be. This guy clearly is a pro, that work looks beautiful, he should know better. This is going to cause the need for everything to be cut out for a repair. Its purposely generating extra wirk for future profit. Not very customer centric.
Crimp has been around for 50 years. We use it all the time and have no issues at all. Solder joints leak too. I’ve been in the game 42 years and crimp is the way to go for sure.
Old plumbers use pipe benders if you don’t have small places to work in you can get rid of those high cost 45s and bend a beautiful 15/30/45 degrees that’s cut your cost on price of fittings and less chance of.a leak, Dam nice job nothing more rewarding then nice work of art. PRICELESS 🚰🚽🧻

If you have a manifold at your house, you can have it soldered....
0% repairable
That’s the whole point
Drywall, the hardest material known to man.
And even though I'm not a pp guy yet those joints will last as long as the nail salon itself so shut the fuck up😊
100% repairable by anyone with a shred of competence. The cost of repairing drywall peanuts and forgivable for a nice clean finish
I work for a multi billion dollar gc and their archiects and office folk want all our cr19s right tight to that escutcheon, no copper all chrome.
Hey man i can talk all sorts of fancy dielectric separation or electrolysis while also talkin bout jamming the ol shit snake down the shit pipe

All the bends in our place started getting pinhole leaks. Not a fan. Only straight pipes and angles now.
