A good friend of mine up in the Destin area cooked the same meal for me last year. Except he used some fresh King Mackerel we caught the day before. He made a big batch of fried rice with veggies and garlic butter and then fried some cubes of kingfish in a big wok outside. When the rice was done he just put big chunks of the kingfish over the rice and served it that way. I never tasted kingfish that good in my life! It was easy and awesome! The way it worked with the fried rice you would have thought it was wahoo! Incredible😎👍👍

just a suggestion, we make a lot of fried rice here at the islands...next time, leave rice out and covered on the kitchen table and let it air out...sometimes i leave it in the fridge where it feels hard and separates easily and kind of crumble in your hands, then you make fried rice with it, that is when all the moisture has lefts...

16:46 if you know you're going to make fried rice, the best thing to do is make the rice as early as possible and then put it in the fridge. Day old cooked rice is ideal, but if you now you're going to make it for dinner, cooking the rice in the morning and throwing it in the fridge is good enough.

I really enjoy your cooking....and even though you have cleaned numerous fish and posted them....It is enjoying to watch, over and over.....
Keep doing your thing, it works.......
I was just wondering....How does the grouper, once cooked, hold up until the next day? Could you flake it with a bit of lime juice, mayo, green onion, S&P, celery, some curry powder, and ring noodles to make a cold pasta salad?

That first grouper in the cave was street wise. It had been hunted before. There's a wreck I dive that is filled with grouper but they know just how far they need to be to stay out of spearing range. They will swim just out of range and turn around and watch you. The dumb ones have all been taken, LOL. Great effort though and good job showing the reality. It's not as easy as most of the videos online show.

What kind of flat top is that?
I make a bacon fried rice and will toss scallops and stuff in there, never put fish in it. Do it very similar to yours.

Aaron man I just love watching your videos. I normally just press like before I even begin. I can't believe you would trow away the grouper head I'm so angry at u rite now. That the best for of the entire fish. Whenever I know I will be in Florida I will put in an order for all grouper snapper head hahaha🤗. Buy great channel always enjoy the content. It's only a pity I'm so far away in canada.

really glad you enjoy it! and trust me I wish I could give them to people. I have so many charters I literally can't eat all of the scraps. and clients don't take the whole fish unfortunately. its the way we have been programed here in the states! that's why I love what will does so much, uses all the scraps as much as he can to make delicious meals!

Man the dolphins here in Tampa Bay are relentless to the fisherman! They are so smart and are experts in stealing fish, the mama dolphins actually teach they're young how to steal fish! Crazy

I don’t like the snap swivels. A fan of the pigtails. But they seem to work the same
