In this video I show you how I made these gorgeous trinket trays by putting foil directly on the moulds. The moulds and foil are linked below if you would like to purchase them. They are Affiliate links at no extra cost to you but supports me and my channel.
I place the foil directly on to dry silicone moulds no glue is needed. The foil and the silicone cling to each other like I cling to my food! :)

I have to say I love the first and last well no I love them all so gorgeous.........have tried applying the flakes with a paint brush that how I apply it to my crafts babes 🤍🤍🤍

They all look amazing. I love the rose gold colour with the opaque black. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the river bed looking one. It's so hard to pick as they are all different & beautiful x

The diagonal one is my favorite. It just seems to flow with curves of the tray.

Brush a thin layer of clear resin into the molds first, then put the foil down when it's almost set. Then pour the black while it's still tacky. the clear will seal in the foil better and give the piece more depth and a super glossy surface.
Thankyou for the tip Simon ... I poured a clear layer when it was all cured and out of the mould .. ... it gives a much higher gloss finish this way.

Quartz clock mechanisms and clock hands can be bought quite cheaply on eBay or Amazon.
I will list everyone taking part on each of my videos during January and will post a video detailing all the videos in the challenge in February.

I actually have gold leaf sheets!! Now I just need resin, silicone molds, a respirator mask and I’m ready to go ha ha I was thinking-just scratch the gold leaf to create cracks but then you just told us not to scratch the mold. The more you know...

I have just discovered your channel and I love these little trinket trays. The rubbed one is my favourite. Can I just say, that a tooth pick will mark your mold but you can get tiny silicone spatulas on amazon that work great for releasing bubbles.

Heyyy lovely ... I usually just use the same resin for the top coat ... but I do now have some top coat resin from Vista .... called Coaty xxx Any resin that is suitable for shallow work ... Will work xxx ❤❤❤
Glass Cast 3 is another one that makes for a stunning top coat xx
