What if the child's parents actually intentially took him to fair to get rid of their child. Like we don't see the end of story if he found his parents or not.... And afterall if you think about it, it is very weird that the parents brought their child to the fair and didn't even let him buy anything or atleast let him listen to the snake charmer's music. What if his parents just saw an opportunity to run away as he was distracted by the merry go round. Doesn't it all make sense now?
