I would take the:“ I couldn‘t do this. I would get too attached“ as a compliment. Because you are strong/brave enough to go through the pain of saying goodbye again and again.

You are doing an amazing job for these children who need a home and loving care👏 its a journey but ultimately we have to think that we are just helping the kids along the way 😀 ❤️ your heart heals and breaks again and again with fostering but they smiles make it all worth it

Hope the move goes well for everyone and you enjoy some travel adventures to recharge. Enjoy the garden, spend time walking, try some new recipes and get ready to go again! Xx

Of course u get attached to the children, it is sad when children leave but it is part of the good work that u do. Enjoy ure time now with Stephen and looking forward to seeing your adventures together.

I think when people say they would get "too attached", what they mean is they don't feel they would be able to manage their emotions the way you commit to doing every time you take on a child and get attached. It's terrible (and self- centred) phrasing and I can totally see why you dislike people saying it - it's obvious how much you care for all these children.
