We watch these cooking shows and wonder what would've happened if a masive disaster happpened like that, but it's never something one strives to see happen. Thats just soul crushing man.
That was absolutely heartbreaking. Yeah, it was just a chocolate cage, but it was her dream. One thing I love is how the contestants all support each other. We should all be so gracious with each other.
At least she still got her cake it is better than not bring anything to show the chief that she can still make it she has her faith to belive that she can still make it through
Whether it is a masterchef with professional contestants (dessert master season) or regular contestants (regular season). They are comfort each other and support each other. Something that you only can find in MasterChef Australia. Other MasterChef (just like Canada and US), you will be very rarely something like this. The judges are so empetize the feeling of Kristin's sad with full heart.
To be fair, if that were MC Canada, the judges and contestants would be as comforting as possible to what happened. It wouldn't save her from elimination, but she wouldn't get chewed out for it.
I don’t know. As much as I know for a fact US will be critical and competitive AF, I don’t think it’ll be met with the same bitterness that’s usually seen. Hell, I bet even Joe would be considerably sorry for a poor soul who’d have that happen that far in the competition.
Host: “Make a dessert inspired by nature.” Lady: “I know, I’ll make a bird cage, for trapping nature.” 😇 Then she used the back of a knife to pick it up! She didn’t knock it, she cut it! You can see the first support that falls is perpendicular to the blade.
Thats the most devastating thing which can happen!!!

You know what's sad. If she never planned the cage in the first place, I would have been satisfied by that cake anyways

That's the most horrific horror movie ever😔
No idea what the editors cut out timing-wise, but in hindsight a concept of nature breaking out of a dilapidated cage may have saved it
"So much of what we make comes from nature..." Who wants to tell her?

Love this as always!
Maybe should have gone up the alley instead of down? 😉
