To farm their powers, and 'enchant' your clones. You can see me using a baron power 'Blood Legion' at around 02:55 to summon quasimorphs and then kill them for the items that they drop which made the rest of the mission much easier. The baron enchants persist through deaths.
Great strategy. Full auto Jeffhammer is a beast, especially with tunnel rats class

If you end up with more baron skulls than you need there are some stations that accept them for a high price
