I loved the bit about working two jobs, thank you for being so self-aware. Whenever youtubers complain about how hard it is/how much work they do - yes it's a lot and it's hard, but it's just not the same as working hard in a low paying or labour intensive job.
I’m a mom of two boys who I’m now also homeschooling, super busy + my husband works out of 27 days a month.. BUT, you work a lot & you have every right to say you’re stressed or have a lot going on. You work your butt off constantly, don’t ever apologize! 💕
Tell me about it! I can totally relate! I work FT in tech and create TH-cam car reviews, and it takes HOURS to edit. I have videos I filmed almost 2 months ago still not edited. It requires discipline, consistency, and planning. It has to get done due to goals and priorities. Thanks for the honesty and energy in this video!
I used to commit to one video a week with a full time job as a journalist and I burned out of both. I had to change jobs and then, two years later, take 10 months off TH-cam when I burned out again. Don't push yourself too much. Take some weekends for yourself. ♥ Also, your videos make me miss working in journalism, even though I remember the work being physically and emotionally draining. I LOVED a lot of it but the dark side of the news cycle wore me out and made me depressed.
Clancey because of the first part of your video where you seemed a little bummed seemed to question the life of a youtuber :), I wanted to say I am big dude like Zac, played footballin high school and alittle in college, etc but i really look forward to your videos (especllay 2) per week! Ill admit, if i was in Starbucks or public i might peak left and right before starting your videos up :D - but i dont care they are a guilty pleasure i enjoy. and that is the point - we enjoy your videos keep em real and how they are. Its great to see how you really feel sometimes you dont HAVE to be bubbly every second.

This is what keeps your channel so appealing to me unlike the "staged" and overly aesthetically pleasing channels. I appreciate all approaches but your's is what I can relate to. My friend is a news reporter here in New York and she keeps a calendar/journal of her on-air outfits. Maybe that can reduce some stress 🙏🏼

About to be an annoying teacher here but this is what I tell my students .... BACK-IT UP, back-it up, back-it up every 30 minutes or so [or decide on a time that makes the most sense to you]. Keep your footage in 3 different places [cloud, OneDrive = 1TB, exterior hard-drive, thumb-drive, Google Drive etc.] A lot of editing software/programs offers you extra storage space as well. Enjoy your videos and venting is healthy. :)
Chocolate pop tarts are my fave too! I like them all, but I'm afraid if I buy another flavor, I'll regret it. 😆 Also, setting an alarm before I nap is key, or else allll my naps would be 4 hours lol. I have a full time job working at a university and work part time at a non-profit teaching dance, cheer, and musical theater because I love it but I do have stressful days like yours when I have to rush to get things together for a full 8am - 8pm day. I sometimes forget props for musical theater and I have to rush through traffic to go home before classes start. I completely understand what you mean and I love you for being sooo real about it because even though I’m thankful for having a job but sometimes it can get stressful and frustrating when the day doesn’t go the way you planned.
I like your honesty. And I understand the struggle with having extra time for your side hustle....which....is also a hobby. I own my own small business on the side and I love it but it’s still a lot of work!!! You really have to find the time and stay motivated on your own, which for me is a struggle in and of itself. :)
Used clothing is the best! I got a Stella dress at Dots a couple summers ago for $20. I never knew they made blueberry poptarts. They sound good, but my favorite pop tarts have always been the strawberry. I'm an essential worker in a drug store, but my favorite side job is my songwriting and comedian job, which is more of an open mic night hobby that is on hold right now because of this pandemic. I make sure that I bike every day, either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather.
