Zemaitis reissue guitars sound nothing like the Teyes. I own both, and they are quite different. The Teye uses low output Lollar Imperial pickups, while the Zemaitis guitars use over-wound humbuckers that are much higher output. I think you will like your Zemaitis as they are great guitars (I own five of them), and they are very well built with high precision, the Teye guitars are built for a more handmade feel and they have a much more versatile electronic layout.
