Trying to give an overall picture of cost for daily needs in Muscat, Oman. Visit to Lulu Hypermarket which is verry common and many branches in Oman. What is price of vegetable, fruits, milk etc and how much will be your monthly cost for a family like 2 adult and 1 kid. The prices are given in USD, Bangladesh Taka, PKR & INR. Exchange rate considered as of today (1st week of Nov'22)

I will come before christmas. Will I find fresh coconuts, papaya, jackfruit, good watermelons?

Local watermelons and Papaya is always available but you will get imported but fresh coconuts , Jackfruits , papaya and watermelon.. best time to enjoy local coconut water and papaya is June to Sep in Salalah

What about the food cost for bachelors while self cooking and hotel

Hotel will be expensive
1BHK flat rent you can get around 100-150 RO
Food cost by self cooking it will be around 50 RO
1 RO is 215 INR
