- This AOE2 Archer Rush build order tutorial is one of the craziest strategies I have tried. The 15 population Khmer AOE2 Archer rush is actually the fastest archer rush in the game!

I would suggest that this age of empires 2 definitive edition Khmer archer rush is an advanced build order due to the all in nature of the strategy. Your aim is to gain early map control and delay the enemy from making military buildings and also helps to counter a drush or men at arms rush.

Khmer 15 pop Archer rush AOE2 build order is as follows:-
6 Sheep
1 lure boar
2 to boar/sheep
1 to lure 2nd boar
4 more to boar/sheep
loom
force drop food after a few seconds
click up to feudal age
move 7 from sheep to wood
move 3 from sheep straggler trees
move 2 from sheep and go to enemy
make 1 house on the way
FEUDAL AGE
move 3 vills from stragglers to gold
make range
make farms with forward vills
1 to gold
1 to wood
2 to berries (with 2 from sheep)

I just started playing the Khmer as of 2 days ago. Fell in love with their farming bonus and the fact you don't need to build a barracks to build other stuff or advance. They are such fantastic bonuses.
Yeah they do have great bonuses. This build is very much a meme strat. I have an 18 pop scout rush that you might like
2:56 won't suggest adding another villager because then you'd need to build another house first = feudal further delayed than necessary. How I do this one is that I take my 1st boar as soon as I see it and don't wait for 7th vil to do it. Gives that extra early food bonus

amazing strategy, khmer and mongols are nov my fav civ. both with 15 pop, also strong late game.

Won with this first try in ranked! (1085 elo). Made the exact play you did, however since he was planning to do a Drush I did not quite get there in time to stop the Barracks. I tech'ed into scouts after about 10 archers since he was began massing skirms. He ended up with a skirm + pike army (Japanese, scary) so I actually just ended up massing skirms + scouts. A tense amount of micro back and forth, finally finished by 3 Battle Elephants emerging and beating his 2 knights soundly (plus Elite Skirms with upgrades). Villager count 28 to 52 by final count.

and then won the very next game! Thanks for the 1100 elo. This guy (Italians) managed to get his military buildings up as well plus a tower and really destroyed my archers quickly. I won through eventual mass elephants and scouts. Not sure how that worked really, but I think the ultra aggression early on will tilt players who tend to use build orders? Even if it doesn't result in many actual kills.

For sure, 3 wins in a row with your strats. I think I'm going to try them all, they're clearly working! Vietnamese next maybe, one of my favourite civs so I have high confidence in it.
@@ababyalbatross9016 I really like the Vietnamese build. Really strong archers! I always have a high success rate with Vietnamese. I’m not sure why they still get a bad rep
@@MorleyGames1 I think a lot of people still have a weird bias against the newest civs, every single I time I play in a 4v4 I just see Franks and Britons. Sometimes two Franks on one team! Of course Viet vs Britons is a beautiful beautiful match up hahahaha.
Speaking of new civs, I'd love to see a Bulgarians M@A rush with Blacksmith upgrades build order, maybe adding Skirms or Scouts? Or Double Barracks and just overwhelming? Taking advantage of their newest buff I think their Feudal rush could potentially be one of the best for hitting fast and hard.

I never lost with this, around 1600-1700elo. Thank you for the build. In addition, to not have that idle time you can lure the boar with the 5th villager if you can find the boar fast.

Looks like a fun strategy to punish late feudal, but against a scout rush it may have some trouble if you don’t prepare a few spears,
