My daughter and I were driving from Phoenix to Pittsburgh and we were able to stop at that Buc-ees on June 13th. I had never been to a Buc-ees or used a V4 before. That place is something else!!! They have approved building a Buc-ees in the Phoenix area and should be completed within the next couple of years..... It's a sight to be seen for sure!!!
Cool seeing the V4 dispenser! I was really hoping the new supercharger site they opened in Vernon Texas was going to V4 but they put in V3. I think @ArkansasEV Is somewhere around Jonesboro.
The videos Dave never get old. I love it able to see so much of the country from all your videos don’t ever give it up. Someday I hope to take my model Y away on some of these road trips. I am going on a road trip all the way from Tampa to Buffalo in a couple weeks. I go through the Carolinas now that I’m thinking about it. Anyways I am going to get into GMRS radios , I know you have a lot of electronics experience more than most people. I’m have purchased the Midland. MXT 275 that I will mount in my Tesla. My question to you is if I went with the MXT 575 I know it’s 50 W versus 15 W. I am not off the beaten path. I am always always on most of the major highways for the most part. Your thoughts on if I had them side-by-side and I was talking to somebody else am I gonna reach them on the 275 the same as the 575 if I’m hitting a repeater or is the clarity better because it’s a 50 watt ? Also I may get there new GTX 67 Pro handheld looks like a pretty cool radio not sure of the range with that either because all handholds are only 5 watts. OK appreciate any feedback you can give me Maybe our paths will cross at sometime hopefully if you ever come to Florida in the winter, please let me know. OK talk soon thank you Dave.
I must of missed the video where you might of talked about that dash pad. It looks really good!! Does it cover the speakers up near the windshield? Congrats on the CT man. Keep up the great work.
It's funny, I prefer to be in standard cruise control. I hate the warnings coming in every couple of minutes. I don't even bother with Blue Cruise on my Lightening. Same issue. I get aggravated with the alarms. I find it less stressful if I drive it myself.

In the Tesla app it doesn’t show that it is open to other non teslas yet
They could let them be a magic doc but it should say open to nacs. Like ford and rivian and gm should be next

GMRS is ok but suggest you get your hen license it’s easy and you will do better use amateur radios than GMRS it’s like CB. 15w is plenty

I have the same dash pad on my Model Y. No, it doesn't cover up the speakers.
