I found a way to do this when you go into the hand motions for cascade but instead stead grab the packet upside down with the middle in the middle ring pointer on the sides. Something I found yesterday that I'd like to experiment with more.
I'm still working on my bloom. The part I am working on is the pressure you put into the cards while you rotate the packets out (which is pretty light). I did get to almost a semicircle when I put my two halves of the bloom together (About a quarter of a circle in each hand when the cards bloom) a couple times. There is some wrist movement involved, but I can't explain how it works and you can get bigger blooms.
