I wore out a couple of his cassette tapes in the ‘80’s, got his instructional tapes, played some slide. Gotta get back to it. No one plays at Brozman’s caliber. He can be frantic-sounding, but it’s authentically him, and played perfectly. There are lots of mellow songs he’s done which are absolutely beautiful. He was a genius, no doubt. Saw him live in Sheffield upstairs at the grapes folk club...at first had group of noise lads spoiling his show ...not long he had quietened them down by his performances...they where the first ones shouting for more when finishing his set...this bloke was the real thing a brilliant innovative performer and guitarist...
It brings tears to my eyes, it's so fragile, it's so roots and so virtuoso. A lot of times virtuosos lack a bit in the sensitivity dept., but this guy, wow, he's got it all.

This is a really great performance! He is in total command of technique, he has a load of nice licks/riffs/rhythms and ideas, he draws from the history of the music, he has very, very good sound, and one can immediately sense his deep feelings for his music. From what I've read there were a few allegations of molestation made against him. The most damning was from a former tour manager who accused Brozman of molesting his daughter. Having said that, his guitar genius will live on but so will the allegations. Quite obviously there was a very positive side to his being but the negative, such as it is , will overshadow it
If you say that a musician like this doesn't have feeling, you really should be ashamed of yourself. It's not a mattter of opinion. This man HAS feeling. If he didn't put his heart and soul into his music, he wouldn't ever have gotten so good at guitar. Just the fact that you can't feel the soul he puts into his music, doesn't mean it isn't there.
thank you. I love the sound of a National, My dad played one in the 30's Hawaiian style, You play it very well. I learned guitar on his National, first Hawaiian, then Spanish. I still have a wooden bodied national, that I rarely play. Still sounds great.

VioletGiraffe i still want to find out what happened... i saw him play something like 12 times ... and just couldn't believe these allegations... but even more hard to fathom is the lack of information surrounding his death , considering his undeniable talent and just his general attitude and presence... i walked away from every one of his shows feeling truly blessed to have witnessed it (always in a small , intimate venue , for $20 or so... which i could never get over but also appreciated).. i know im rambling... basically ..i find the allegations hard to believe condsidering the lack of evidence and information regarding the particular cases and would like to know more.

Bob shows us what "Feel" is all about! It's one of the best examples I've seen and I've seen a lot. From Ambrosia to Zepplin, Mr. Brozman sets the example for all us musicians searching and finding "Feel"! All the Best!
