Training camp was a great success, got an autograph from Larkin, DeBrincat, Raymond and Kane. Got to see some fellow Wings fans I only see once a year, and made some new friends. Hoping to see the boys from the WWP at training camp one year... LGRW 🐙 🏒 🤘
@@Michaeladen301 yes, tickets usally go on sale a few weeks before training camp, and you can purchase them by finding center ice arena up in traverse city. If all you want are autographs, you dont even need a ticket really, can just wait by the player parking lot and hope they sign
It surprises me that everyone sleeps on Johansson. The kid is really good. Watson has said there were many nights when he was the best player on the team. Holl just has to go.
I'm expecting great things from Edvinsson this year in terms of being a solidifying force defensively, like a baby Mo. People are constantly pumping the brakes for what kind of real impact he'll have and I don't get it, he's looked the part every step of the way as a top draft pick with years of deliverate development under his belt. Coming up ready to be already good is exactly what his path has been
You know what else they can do to grow the game and the league? Allow the NHL online streaming services to ve available in Europe. That is just dumb not to have it here, and so guess where all the NHL fans who live here go to watch the games? I would gladly pay the annual fee to watch them leagally, even if I am 6 hours ahead of EST.
I was at training camp saturday and sunday. I thought solderblom looked pretty good. He had a lot of shots on Sunday. I hope he can make the team eventually. For a big guy, he has some good touch with the puck. Hard to make a good evaluation on the rest of the young guys looking for a spot. Im excited to see how they look during the pre season. LGRW!
Here's a funny, how about sending Husso to Boston if Swayman doesn't get signed. And check out the Detroit Hostel for a place to stay. It's a 1.5 mile walk so you don't have to pay for parking and it's really inexpensive to stay there.
Good discussion on the goalie situation. Pickup half of Husso's contract and trade him. Agree we probably won't make the playoffs with the same defense and less scoring than a year ago so they need to think long-term and bring up at least one or two young forwards.
I heard Kasper was the MVP for the playoffs from Watson and he made His Goaltender a MVP. This is Watson has said on Video. So he has played with all the other players Bergs and Edvinson plus Johansson so why is he not been given a roster spot based on that alone. We didn’t need certain players signed and should have given the younger players a chance to get the experience or this team is not ready for any playoff situation.
Lots of Wings guys poop on Kasper but they are just ignorants of what his real potential is.. getting that PO MVP while struggling at the begining adjusting NA ices and systems shows his character and that he's a future top player to me. People just need to ask all true insiders in GR like Andrew Rinaldi but they're just blind anyway
The Wings have only $200,000 in cap space and I could see Stevie making moves to give the Wings more wiggle room. We need to move on from Husso and Holl. My feeling is we need a second pair RD, Ramus Andersson.for example. Petry and Holl are 3rd pair RD at best.
I disagree with the goalie situation, if you have to move a goalie, see how Husso is but retain salary on him and give up a 3rd or something. Lyon is too good to let go, he’s on a steal of a contract, I know it’s easy to move but I can see some big regret if you let him go
How are jobs up for kids when Yzerman keeps adding people? It’s the same as last season .We shouldn’t be adding guys 23 and under to be a 4th liner. I’d move veleno and send copp as 4c for 3 years(is what it is) and put a kid there but it won’t happen. People will hate the Rasmussen signing soon when they realize he’s a 3+ mill 4th line guy unless he’s dealt soon ... Yzerman won’t find a taker to go unless he eats 2 mill salary (he’s #1 trade target upfront atm) but Yzerman won’t do it
Rasmussen is a great signing? He looked like a great depth player last year.. teams would love to put Ras on their 3rd 4th line, he’s worth his contract.

Was talking with Mazer's family in the stands on Saturday. His grandpa said he put on 15+ lbs this offseason.

Holding back certain Number 1 draft picks for too long and not see them wanting a trade if they are wanting to wait until they are Waiver exempt.
