  • We uncover a 1967/68 Porsche 912 that has been sitting in a garage for 35 years. I check it out to see if is worth purchasing. It is for sale and if you're interested please contact me through my email.

There is hundred of hours of metal work on that car (definitely a 68 - side markers on the front fenders, last year of the SWB) which would mean at north americans rate, it would be an extremely expensive attempt to bring this one back. The money is in the parts unfortunately. The only way to make this a drivable car would have to be someone with the skills to put it back together in their own garage.. Head rests were standard in 68 because of DOT requirements, along with the side markers, rubber on all switches and the wing window latches. There should also be a smog system on the engine, otherwise it would not pass Smog requirements in registered in CA (even today)

How do you have 3 of them?

Vent windows made sense, (we call them quarter lights, 🇬🇧), why did they stop doing them? You could drive in drizzle, get fresh air and keep your shoulder dry. They were also handy for getting rid of 🚬... All change is for the worse. (It's my birthday. Not getting any younger. Or less grumpy)... On the bright side there's a new Drive Analog video. Thanks, pal, appreciate it... p.s., analog is spelt analogue. Just sayin'... Keep up the good work.

Is the VW the 1946 you mentioned? Is it for sale?
