Attempting to breathe some life back in to this tired old 1977 Chevy C10 pickup after sitting for 20 years completely neglected. This was my great grandpa's old truck. The body is rough, but we may be able to repurpose the 350/350 drivetrain for my '57 Chevy wagon if she'll fire up! 1977 was the only year for the gold stripes in the optional body side molding trim. Chevrolet & GMC produced those generation fullsize pickups from 1973 through 1987 on the 1/2 ton & 3/4 ton regular cabs. The 1 ton regular cabs were still in production up through 1989 & same with the crew cab pickups, Suburbans, Blazers, & Jimmys except up through 1991.

That was actually a very cool truck. 77 was the only year for the gold anniversary trim

For the wasps use dawn dishsope in water use a good bit of dishsope in a big cup of water then throw it on the nest gets them every time...hope that helps ....

You just got to know how to work on a Quadrajet. I love them. When turned right they are awesome and get good mpg. Oh and scrap it that thing is way better then one of my square body trucks I drive.

I bought my first squarebody 4 years ago, a 1990 Chevy Caprice. Barely a week owning it, my dad flipped the lid on the air cleaner haha.

someone took good care of there truck your grand pa kept it in good condition. I know mine kept his cars in shape I'm sure yours did the same it's just how there generation was take care of your stuff and it takes care of you

Oh yeah, this was the last truck he had before he passed, it was his farm and all around ride. He had some awesome cars and trucks throughout his life. It actually got put in a junkyard for several years after his passing and we managed to get it back. The body wasn't the best but knew we could eventually do something with the drivetrain.

You were lucky, mine stood still for 4 years and died despite the battery being new. These cars are junk.
