My mop came yesterday. I love it! I have balance and mobility issues due to a degenerative autoimmune disease. This past year mopping slowly became almost impossible and it's very frustrating, let me tell you. This mop is light and easy to handle. I put floor cleaner in a spray bottle (to minimize expending energy and avoid having to bend over) and was able to do my entire bathroom floor in the afternoon and my fairly large kitchen floor in the evening (with a short break). I was amazed and thrilled, to say the least! Oh... and I couldn't imagine the scrubby pad doing much damage on a tough spot, but it did! Thank you for your channel and your carefully thought-out products. You are changing lives in more ways than you probably realize. :)

I got mine in only 5 days and I am from Poland 🇵🇱. I'm over the moon with this mop! There is nothing close to this one. I want a clean home without an effort that is why this mop is so perfect. No bucket, always at hand and easy to maintain. Totally reccomend!
Saw this video a few months ago and bought this mop. It lives up to the hype. I have been able to get rid of my conventional sponge mop, swiffer wet jet, as well as my flat mop. This mop does all the things. Don’t be afraid of the price tag in the long run you will end up saving so much more. I use Melissa‘s DIY recipes for laminate and luxury vinyl floors In a sprayer. I lightly dampen the fabric mop cover and then simply walk around the house spraying and mopping. I haven’t used it to clean windows yet, but I will be taking some time off in September and doing a fall clean and I will use it and see how it goes.
This is a brilliantly designed mop. The curved shape, the ridge in the centre - genius. One of the features I absolutely love about this mop is the ability to either let it swivel or keep it fixed. I have used so many other mops that are completely annoying when you try to clean the tub or shower walls and the head keeps flipping over; it drives me nuts. Now I won't have to worry about that anymore. Also love that you can lean it against the wall without it falling over. This mop has so many great features. You have outdone yourself on this one. Best design ever. I ordered one yesterday and am looking forward to its arrival.
I also ordered before I finished watching the video. What sold me was the ability to clean baseboards, walls, windows, the out-of-reach places of the shower and to clean them well (e.g., using firm pressure), all in a quality mop. Most mops are shoddily made with handles too short for me (just under 5’8” is not that tall). Looking forward to putting the Maker’s Mop through its paces!

This is a great design. Especially the fact that I can clean hard stuck on food which is difficult to clean with the flat head mop as there is not enough friction. Quick question though-what is the weight of this mop? Also how do we spray cleaning solution? Are we supposed to just wet the mop under water, squeeze excess water and start using?
Just received mine this week and let me tell you…this is a game changer for a pregnant lady! I can reach my floor boards without getting on my hands and knees and can wash my walls without all the trouble of the “up,down,up,down” motion that is impossible while in your third trimester haha !! I was pleased to notice that in your video, the words OPEN/CLOSE are large enough for seniors to read. Manufacturers should take eyesight into consideration when making their products. I wear eyeglasses with bifocals and am still unable to see/read the small print they use.
I just got my mop and can’t wait to use it! Previously I always swifter my floors then mopped them. Do I need to just go over my floors with the clothe dry them wet it to mop? Or am I doing an extra step that is not needed?
i bought this mop , the cloths are excellent ! but the shape i find doesn't lay on either side fully on the floor like it does on shower doors . so i had to go over the floor area more than am use too, i gave my ocedar spin mop to my sister which never disappointed, i just order another. i'll stick to my ocedar. maker's clean does have the best cloths in the market.
I really ;love this innovative mop! I would most likely just use this for mopping since I would still need a broom, or dry brush to sweep up larger debris (say for example, the cheerios that you depicted). This looks like it does a great job in collecting the debris into a neat pile, but it would still need to be transferred to the garbage. Thank you for this design! I am considering ordering one.
She did say at 2:00, “Two Adhesive strips”, however they look like the loop part of a hook-n-loop tape. I don’t see how they can be adhesive strips, otherwise a wet piece of cloth would not be able to adhere to it. Can a mop owner confirm that these are not adhesive strips, please?

I wish Melissa would have answered this question. I am brand new to her videos (as of June 2022) and fairly new to using microfiber cloths (the past year) and would be interested to hear her response. I have only used microfiber for dusting the dashboard of my car.

I currently have a microfibre dry mop and wet mop that has interchangeable pads with the handle but I love your curved design, the built in cloth grabbers and the precision edge! That is one of my complaints with my flat mop is that it doesn't do a great job of getting into the crevices. I am definitely going to be ordering this mop and can't wait to use it on outside high up windows. I have previously purchased your microfibre cloths and love them so I am sure this is going to be another quality purchase to add in to the mix!

Yes, our preferred method is a spray bottle filled with your favorite DIY floor cleaner. Spraying directly onto the floor rather than soaking your mop pads will help to prolong the life of your mop, and also ensure you're not soaking your floor.
Genuine question, as someone who relies on Norwex products for my home cleaning...can you tell me what the difference is between your products and theirs? They seem very similar to me.
Norwex is just a microfiber cloth that has silver in it. There's really nothing special about Norwex, so you'll find that any high quality microfiber cloth is going to be just as good or similar to Norwex. Adding silver is just an unecessary gimmick. All good microfiber cloths will pick up bacteria, viruses, even molecules as small as proteins. That's how they are tested in labs. They do a protein test on the surface after cleaning with the cloth and if it comes back negative you know you picked up pretty much everything (including bacteria which are much bigger than proteins).
@@piedadgoulet3499 the silver disinfects the cloth with its antibacterial properties...meaning you can hang it up to dry after rinsing it out and it will sanitize itself. Less laundering needed. It also won’t smell like other mildewy cloths get...
@@cassiehanson5716 That's a completely unnecessary addition to the fibers of the cloth for most people who regularly wash their microfiber cloths. And it's not clearly marketed for this purpose. It's a gimmick because of how it is marketed by most of the consultants. I've attended enough parties to know that they try and pass it off as being extra capable of disinfecting, when that's not at all how silver works.

Got mine for a little week now... the big cleaning work is for tomorrow. i have to say I love it ! But I’m scared... when a use a mop, I use to press a bit on it to remove or insist on some areas such as kitchen. And a little mark is showing on the handle grip 😢. Any suggestion ? Thanks !

I love that the handle extends 🙏 my husband is 6ft and when he mops he is pretty much in a horrible position causing him back pain after. I love that this rotates and love the curve of it to clean base boards etc but I’m really thinking does it really work to mop a big house with only floors? Due to been curve it only provides a small area to use from mop? Maybe if they would of made it to curve and also been able to go flat like a swifter? I don’t need more cleaning gadgets that won’t for us.
Can you please make a video of how to properly clean a steam mop pad after each use? No one shows on youtube how to do it. At the moment I am cleaning them in my washing machine 40° C, but I am not happy with the results. I am using a Bissell steam mop.
The handle does not move when I try to open it. I have checked the arrows to make sure I am turn it in the right direction. Otherwise the mop works well.
One more question-I am replacing my Norwex mop with this one, and just wondered if I might reuse my existing mop handle as a spare for this mop head? Are they interchangeable?
I am only reaching out here because the emails I’ve sent to Maker’s Clean support have not been responded to. I ordered a mop over 2 weeks ago, along with some extra microfiber products. I received all the soft goods, but never received the mop. I included pictures from the FedEx delivery person and the package I received with the goods inside (there would never have been room to include a mop, it was too small and too full of soft goods). I have been waiting weeks for a Maker’s mop and received everything EXCEPT that. And no response from your support team after the initial email, nor the follow-up email, over the course of 3 days since receiving the package. Please fix this issue, I feel incredibly disappointed at the lack of response by this point. I do not feel I have been taken care of as a customer, and after spending $120 on your products, all I have to show for it are the microfiber cloths, and no mop. I would never have spent $120 on microfiber clothes and mop heads, if I wasn’t ordering the mop as well. This is the first time I’ve ever had to go to this length to get a response from a company, and I’m incredibly saddened by the whole thing.
Yes, about a week after I left this message, someone from company reached out and they did send the mop handle (which I absolutely love and use several times per week). I hope it was just my own bad luck and that this probably doesn’t happen very often within the company. All of the other items arrived without any problems. Thanks for asking!

I ordered the mop kit plus a few extra microfiber items in that order. Just make sure that if you order multiple items, that all of them are accounted for! Mistakes definitely happen in the packing department 😅 but yes, it was fixed in the end. 👍

The command strips have an awesome bracket to snap the pole into. I put them in my closet so it’s off the floor
I use a Command Strip for any poles that don't have a hook. It works well and are extremely strong

And silver only inhibits growth, so it doesn't "disinfect" the cloth so to speak. Both are great brands, though.

Got mine for a little week now... the big cleaning work is for tomorrow. i have to say I love it ! But I’m scared... when a use a mop, I use to press a bit on it to remove or insist on some areas such as kitchen. And a little mark is showing on the handle grip 😢. Any suggestion ? Thanks !

my husband is 6ft and when he mops he is pretty much in a horrible position causing him back pain after.
I love that this rotates and love the curve of it to clean base boards etc but I’m really thinking does it really work to mop a big house with only floors? Due to been curve it only provides a small area to use from mop?
Maybe if they would of made it to curve and also been able to go flat like a swifter?
I don’t need more cleaning gadgets that won’t for us.

Can you please make a video of how to properly clean a steam mop pad after each use? No one shows on youtube how to do it. At the moment I am cleaning them in my washing machine 40° C, but I am not happy with the results. I am using a Bissell steam mop.

what about rinsing while mopping ? Ocedar spin mop is simple. This looks like you have to remove cloth , rinse then reattach 🤔 ..
Does the u shape mop head have an option to be flat?

The handle does not move when I try to open it. I have checked the arrows to make sure I am turn it in the right direction. Otherwise the mop works well.

One more question-I am replacing my Norwex mop with this one, and just wondered if I might reuse my existing mop handle as a spare for this mop head? Are they interchangeable?

I am only reaching out here because the emails I’ve sent to Maker’s Clean support have not been responded to. I ordered a mop over 2 weeks ago, along with some extra microfiber products. I received all the soft goods, but never received the mop. I included pictures from the FedEx delivery person and the package I received with the goods inside (there would never have been room to include a mop, it was too small and too full of soft goods). I have been waiting weeks for a Maker’s mop and received everything EXCEPT that. And no response from your support team after the initial email, nor the follow-up email, over the course of 3 days since receiving the package. Please fix this issue, I feel incredibly disappointed at the lack of response by this point. I do not feel I have been taken care of as a customer, and after spending $120 on your products, all I have to show for it are the microfiber cloths, and no mop. I would never have spent $120 on microfiber clothes and mop heads, if I wasn’t ordering the mop as well. This is the first time I’ve ever had to go to this length to get a response from a company, and I’m incredibly saddened by the whole thing.

Yes, about a week after I left this message, someone from company reached out and they did send the mop handle (which I absolutely love and use several times per week). I hope it was just my own bad luck and that this probably doesn’t happen very often within the company. All of the other items arrived without any problems. Thanks for asking!

I ordered the mop kit plus a few extra microfiber items in that order. Just make sure that if you order multiple items, that all of them are accounted for! Mistakes definitely happen in the packing department 😅 but yes, it was fixed in the end. 👍
