Jeep Grand Cherokee has been my dream car since I was a kid. I am now 25 and long from getting my first car. All I know is that I'll own a jeep one day. Love this electric version ❤️. The interior is dope
I like it a lot better than expected. Love the interior. I just wish they'd' bring back the rear glass gate. You don't realize how versatile it is until it's removed.
My 06 has it. It is a great feature and a lot quicker than opening the entire tailgate. I have had to replace the struts twice but not bad considering they are only 20 bucks on Amazon and the car is 15 years old.
The 4xe Grand Cherokee looks amazing! And Love the use of 'real' Physical switches and buttons! They look classy while being practical. Really hate the growing trend of touch screen every thing...
We were hooked on the GC L but when we played with it it was just too big for daily use. This seems better to replace our 2018 GC High Altitude, except this time I getting the V8.
@@ajjames8288 we never really had any issues until having the jeep loaded up and going through mountain passes while on vacation. That's when I wished for torque
I've been waiting on the brand new Jeep Cherokee. I'm going to my local dealer and talk to them about the new upcoming Jeep Cherokee and how to order one. Looks way better than the Jeep Cherokee L in my opinion. I want the fully loaded summit.
Bring back the ZJ Grand Cherokee! Solid axels, unibody sturdy drive train with just enough electronics, great riding on road and capable off road amazing vehicle!
The new Grand Cherokee looks amazing in the Overland, Summit, & Summit Reserve 😍🔥🤩🥵🙌🏽! I can't wait to see the next gen Cherokee which will be the best of the refreshed Compass & this all-new Grand Cherokee!
For the amount of money Stellantis wants for these Jeep’s they need to add more exterior and interior color options. I see a blue JGC on their campus in this video but it’s not available as a build color option. The Summit trims exterior have only mono black and the rest are the ugly 2-tone. The lower trims are available in only black or gray interior.
A solid rear hatch door is integral to the rigidity of the body and is less likely to have rattling or movement besides they have power up and down so what is your problem?
@@jamesweinzierl7399 I had a 2007 grand Cherokee and it was plenty rigid and didn't rattle at all with 180k miles. Land Cruisers and 4Runners have them. Those are two of the most solidly built reliable vehicles ever made. So to say they can't make it open because of rigidity and rattling concerns is completely false. My problem is I can't buy a piece of wood at Home Depot with an SUV with a rear window that doesn't open.
I agree; all manufacturers say that about their newest version. It sounds impressive at first but it's actually just a buzz phrase that doesn't mean much. They shouldn't compare it against it's predecessor but rather against its competitors.
I doubt that new 4xe power train will be reliable the first couple years, but hopefully once they fix the bugs, I’m getting one! I just hope Jeep is really working on improving their reliability.
The 4xe is mainly provided by ZF or Aisin which is Toyota and GKN driveline. Also known for excellent quality and reliability. Seems jeep did a very good job partnering up with right suppliers this time around. Also for Europe there is a 12year 170000kms driveline warranty.
Looking forward to seeing the upper level trims. I currently have a Summit model so I'm looking to see what that looks like since there will be no SRT version. FYI Stellantis...We want a high performance version!!!
I was under the impression the Trackhawk wasn't returning, not no high performance trims. Plus considering they created the 'Hawk nameplate in a clear move to create brand separation, I wouldn't be surprised if that all that is, and the 6.4L with return at least. If the base of this 4xe is really the i6, I could imagine the turbos we've been hearing about are actually coming along with it as well.
I'm thinking the same think, we have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and it has been AWESOME, especially with Openpilot. Hope I can make OP drive the 2022 (or 2023) Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe, we'll see!
Job well done, Chris! This vehicle looks worthy of the Grand Cherokee name. I have been very happy Jeep owner for 30+ years. Unfortunately, my local dealer makes buying another Jeep a non-starter. As things sit right now, I cannot justify buying another expensive Jeep and be treated so poorly. If you want me to consider buying another Jeep, first you need to fix your atrocious dealers.
I know what you mean, dealer personnel can be scummy. Maybe Tesla's example with avoidance of clueless dealers (not all but many are that way) is good for end users, we'll see.
To be fair, often times how dealers treat customers is simply a reflection of how the automaker treats them. Having said that, Jeep prices, fit and finish, the quality of the materials are well into luxury territory, but the dealer experience is not. Far from it.
Senz'altro eccezionale. A primo impatto e' da vedere bene la griglia leggermente sotto il cofano. Va vista di presenza. Andrò sicuramente dal mio concessionario Branzini di Grosseto. Auguri per il Certo successo.
Would have been nice to see the rest of the interior and cargo space. I have kids and dad shoes. I will not be driving up mountains any time soon. Looks nice though.
its nice but i want more jeeps that are more jeepy. what are they doing with the cherokee? is it just going to be a slightly bigger compass? the line up is redundant. id like to see a cherokee that is more truck like like the old ones.

I say go for it. Not sure if my openpilot autopilot will work as well as it does on our excellent 2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, however.
💯
I wouldn’t. Everyone thinks going Electric is the way to go and cheaper but I don’t think it is cheaper
Don't listen to your wife, buy it!

The way they did it in the Wrangler was to put it inside the cabin, under the 2nd row seats. Perhaps it's the same for the 2-row Grand Cherokee.
Its above the floor pan. You'd have to go through skid plates, the frame, and the floor pan to damage it from below.
