This programme charts his racing career from his first interest in motorbikes at the age of 14, to his first race in 1960, up to his retirement in 1984 and what he’s been doing since he stopped racing. The backbone of the story is told by Ray himself in an exclusive interview.
Stephen Watson narrates this intriguing film with contributions from members of Ray’s family, the other Dromara destroyers - Ian McGregor, Brian Reid and Trevor Steele, together with personalities from the racing world including Tommy Robb, Hector Neill, Michael Mooney, Roy Adams, Rev Noel Agnew, Dermot James and Bill Kennedy.
It is illustrated with many unseen pictures from the camera of Rowland White and racing footage from the 1970’s.

Ray was world class if he had been on the works Honda team of the 60's he would have been a world champion. I have always said I would have loved to see him on on the Honda 6 on the IOM what a sight and sound.
