I've been watching a lot of acrylic pour videos on TH-cam and I just wanted to tell you that you are my favorite of all acrylic pour artists. I love your paintings.
Your pours are just gorgeous. I enjoy following you as you are just too adorable and I love how at ease you explain what you do. I just started a few months ago pouring and struggle with the colander and strainer pours but because you make it look so easy I keep trying. Thank you for your wonderful personality and sharing your work
@@MOLLYSARTISTRY you're very welcome! Have you tried Arteza paints yet? You would love them if you haven't. I just got my first and getting ready do one using the Arteza.
That is gorgeous! I've just started and haven't gotten the paint consistency right yet, but I'm trying... I would love to do a colander pour that comes out as beautiful as yours. Thank you so much for your videos.
You definitely need to use the right type collender. My wife has tried both of our...with disastrous results. She just laughs and and says "nailed it". She won't give up till she gets the same beautiful results you do. 😃
thank you for getting back to me , I don't know why that happened , maybe next time I watch you I will be able to hear you . I enjoy watching you and your imagination of making something out of nothing . you have the touch . maybe some day I will be able to do the same . keep up the good work .
The goal is gorgeous girl you make that look so easy. Every time I see you do one makes me go in there and try again I'm done it like three times I think it's the consistency of my pants for the problem is I hope that's the problem that's just a maze me that that that does it every time crazy but awesome LOL love it love it I love watching you girl you are the Queen!! Lol 🔥🔥🔥💜🧡♥️
Superb! Stunning! This pour is magnificent! You know, I don't do what you do, I'm a portrait artist, but I've always been fascinated by this genre of art; I look at the beauty of them first, from a distance and then close up, and they always fill me with awe. Then I look for what I see inside the art, and I often see beyond it: for example I saw fish, and faces, and a Dolphin in this one; it's incredibly beautiful, breathtakingly so. You may not have been too happy with your St. Patty's Day artwork, but as you know, art is relative to the viewer, and I thought they were beautiful, as I'm sure most of your viewers did. It breaks my heart that you are gonna put them up for auction and sell them cheap. Please put a good reserve price on them, you owe it to yourself to be proud of your creations, and rightfully so. You are so gifted! :)
Those were very kind words laurie! I dont want to devalue them, but if they make others happy, then I would rather get them into the hands of people that love them that may not have hundreds of dollars to spend on my art. It must take incredible patience to be a portrait artist, you are my hero! They are very different forms, but both produce amazing art that evokes emotion and that is what it is all about! I value your input and thank you again!
Molly, what do you mean, “nothing special”? I think all your paintings are special. This particular one is so stinking awesome!!!! I hope when I get started that I have just a portion of the talent you have. Great work!!!

You had told me about the sprinkler thingies and I had gone to home Depot but they couldn't find what I was asking for. I showed them pics and your reply with the name of them you gave me. So I settled on 4" pvc coupling hubs. They work great. They sit up high enough to get your fingers under and cause they are open in the middle you have easy access to grab your canvas at the corners too if ya want. So while I didn't find your cool sprinkler things, I did find a cheap alternative. They cost me 2 bucks each. Probably one of my best purchases. I love this pour. If you do another colander pour instead of over stretching to cover the corners could ya use a popping color to do the corners. I'd love to see that
What a great idea! That is awesome! I was thinking of maybe doing some cool ribbon pours on the end! Great idea! I dont know why home depot doesn't have them everywhere! Others have told me the same. Maybe I should give some if those away in my next giveaway lol
Hi Molly. Silent admirer here. Great Colander pour. Ever thought about using a spinner to pull the design to the edges? Think it will keep the design more straight. Again a great pour. TFS 💖🎈
I'm obsessed with your colander pours! This one is gorgeous with the pops of white and yellow. Now, your paint consistency looks awesome here, really thick but stretching nicely (slowly in a good way). Is this your same mixing recipe or a new one for this pour?
Hi, thank you! Nope, same mix, I just used a little less pouring medium maybe ( by accident) I don't weigh or measure the paint out, so might be a little variation. Can wait to try some more of this! Thanks for watching!
Thank you! The the paints are thick for this pour. I have all the ingredients and ratios listed below the video in the description. I do use floetrol, no silicone
Love your videos, thank you for sharing. In the recipe list above is the 'gloss medium' the varnish? I looked in your amazon store but not sure which one for this list. Thanks again
BEAUTIFUL! But with all the Tipping you lose All The Really Cool Patterns That Came Out All Around The Outside... I Loved That Part Too. I think I'd have to figure out a way to get paint around the edges without losing That Fabulous Pattern. I believe I have a colander like yours~ in 3 different sizes~ maybe doing 2 colanders side by side would produce enough coverage so not as much tipping & tilting is necessary?? Can't wait to try it... Thanks So Much for your Fabulous Ideas!
Thank you! I cab bbt leave that much paint on the canvas, sho I have to tip and stretch it out! I have not tried multiple ones yet, but that may be next!
I think layering the paint offset, not just right on top of each other, is what adds to the interesting effects. I'm confused by the formula you gave. Does your PM consist of all those things? And then you add that to your paint at 20%?
Hi! Welcome! Yes, I do! Below each video, the is a description box! In each box I list my colors used and what PM I used with ratios. Thanks for watching!
What an amazing combination of colours. MAGIC!
I love it! And the colors never get muddy.
So gorgeous. Thanks for showing us your colander and the thickness of your paint. Mucho appreciated.

Beautiful, what paint brand do you use?
Have you ever used one of those small sink food catcher thing-a-ma-jigs (forgot proper name)? They have slits instead of holes.
Yes, they dont give the same effect. They have to be holes, not slits. Still cool though!
