for me, they are the most incredible and comfortable idols. They are good at singing, variety shows, their performances, the way they give themselves on stage, and of course their dancing!!! I advise you to watch their dance videos

Woozi is so comfortable with these songs. He does not have to try. Plus hand in pocket is him showing he is 100% comfortable. He helped produce all or most of these songs after all
been a carat since before their debut when they made green room videos but watching videos like this dingo medley always makes me feel like its my first day as a carat again, it's just so nostalgic and endearing

About that "Until now this was Seventeen" thing: That is the literal (word for word) translation, but this phrase is a colloquialism that we don't exactly have an equivalent for. Imagine there was a host who introduced them. At the end of the performance a host might say "That was Seventeen ladies and gentlemen!" It's like that, but when there is no host a performer/speaker will say it about themselves.
In South Korea a performer or speaker at a public event or program will introduce themselves "This is/I am/We are _____." or "Starting now, this is ______." It's just what people say when greeting an audience. And when they are done speaking or performing, right before leaving the stage/ending a radio or TV interview they will say "We were/This was_____" or "Until now this was ______" as a goodbye salutation.

Yeah, It went from Mingyu to Wonwoo. Maybe the chat thought he was talking about the first person(Mingyu).

Yass "Very Nice" is really a megahit. It's one of the most awaited during their concerts even now coz literally everybody can go on for HOURS singing and dancing along Aju Nice during encore. It's so much fun when you experience it 😊

So many amazing songs and a variety of sounds, even amongst the members so many lovely unique voices and styles and yet the come together so beautifully. Yay!!! I was so excited for your reaction to Seventeen’s killing voice. They really can do it all from self produced, lyrics, choreo, vocals and visuals, and are the most fun and chaotic group. Their variety show Going Seventeen is probably the most entertaining there is. I really believe they have the best chemistry. The fanchant is insane, I had to have a cheat sheet at their concert.
Absolutely seventeen is a really fun group, The more you know them, the more addicted you will be...I don't know how many times I've watched seventeen killing voice.. because it's really addictive

this killing voice showcased how GOOD all seventeen members are at vocals, even those members who are in the hip hop or performance unit. i stan a lot of groups but if i had to pick a favourite group? i would pick seventeen. their song 'home' literally saved me, it's so powerful i can't listen without crying so i don't very often but if i had to build a playlist of my life, that song would be in there

Hey dude, new here and I just have a question. I ask alot of directors/vocal coaches/producers etc. who react to videos, what they typically specialize in in terms of their profession. For some reason its helps me understand things from a certain view-point.
I’m the Creative Director of a group that three of us founded from the ground up. I myself, on most shoots, will literally cover everything from idea conception through writing and pitching, all the way through camera work, directing, and then most post-production. I don’t generally handle sound or VFX. To more simply answer your question, I typically specialize in the concept creation and directing of the shoot. Does that answer your question or were you looking for something more specific?
