    I love these people who don't share their portfolio and just explain fundamentals of the companies , your portfolio is your portfolio. Always do your own judgement

    Thank you Eric for the great content !!
    Learned a lot from this, my knowledge in finance, banking and business is very limited, appreciate the educational value of your channel.
    Thank you !

    I started DCA in EQB a few months ago. Currently down 12% but it's one of my biggest conviction stock so I'll take a discount any day. It plans to start operating in Quebec soon and will start to issue payment cards so clients can use EQB as their daily bank. There is still growth ahead and the management team has proven to be effective. I would like to add stocks for future videos: QCOM or MU. Do you plan to add a comparison tab to Tickernomics? I think it would be nice to be able to compare 2 stocks side by side. Nice video as always.

      I did a video on MU a few months ago... It's called "The One Stock Every Value Investor Loves" (spoilers: it's MU). And how would you want to compare companies?

      @@investingsucks I know it's possible to compare precise metrics in Charts but I'm talking something like having the options to see the key data and metrics tab in Summary tab for more than 1 stock at a time to easily compare.

      @@nathangrimard346 Okay I see what you mean, I'll look into adding that. might take a while since our backlog is pretty large right now, but it is a good idea

    Great vid, seems like EQB's price dropped a lot in may 2017. That's when rates were increasing. If we get another 0.75 soon I feel as if you can get in at a better valuation (sub 0.75 price to book probably)

    awesome video, Im continuing to average down, and I feel fine riding the rate cycle with them.

    I bought EQB in March 2020. I sold it this month when I realized that I didn't want to ride it potentially all the way back down. Wish I sold it last year.

    Appreciate you sharing the holding/update. I am overweight on this stock too, knowing that a housing/market crunch would hurt it (I don't buy with a short term outlook, so not concerned). Are you averaging down on this position or just holding?

    Thank you for the good video, I definitely gained value from watching it. I just would like you to explain, if u could, what fair market value is.

    • @investingsucks
      @investingsucks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoyed it :) just means what the shares are worth, so for a public company it's whatever their stock price is, and for a private company usually whatever valuation they last raised financing at

    I do not get that impaired loan part. So is that for all loans or just for the mortgage loans?

    • @investingsucks
      @investingsucks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's all loans, but majority of their loans are mortgage loans

    • @rhythmandacoustics
      @rhythmandacoustics 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@investingsucks if it is mostly mortgages then the impairments are not a huge problem because the real estate are collaterals. Not like it is a regular loan where the clients spend it on consumables.
