- Introducing our latest marvel, the AF Model "Project 195" F-22 Raptor Turbine Jet! In collaboration with AF Model and JP Hobby, the Banana Hobby Team is thrilled to announce the successful completion of extensive testing and validation for this cutting-edge F-22 Raptor Turbine Jet. This magnificent F-22 stands as the highest scaled and largest foam F-22 jet on the market today. Designed at 1/10 scale for 8-10 size turbines, it boasts an impressive wingspan exceeding 51 inches and a fuselage length of 71 inches, setting a new standard for F-22 foam jets.
The AF Model F-22 is designed to mimic the flight characteristics of the real F-22 with its extremely robust structure to handle these extreme maneuvers. Featuring an operational range spanning from 8 to 13 channels, depending on your chosen configuration, it features a robust, heavy-duty, high-scaled retract and e-brake system designed and supplied by JP Hobby, an industry leader renowned for its top-quality EDF and turbine jet CNC components. As an additional highlight, the Y-Exhaust system, specially crafted by JP Hobby, has been meticulously engineered to authentically reproduce the sound of the actual F-22 twin turbofan engines, ensuring the most realistic experience possible. Preinstalled with GDW's proven-quality high voltage servos matched with reliable CNC metal servo arms, this jet showcases exceptional scale details and minimal wing loading, making it an ideal choice for scale training and extreme maneuvers, akin to its full-size counterpart.
The AF Model F-22 is not just a visually stunning replica; it's a high-performance RC jet with the lowest stall speed and one of the highest top speeds among foam jets. Whether you're an expert pilot seeking to perform extreme maneuvers or a trainer pilot looking for stable, high-alpha flight, this jet is designed to cater to both. It effortlessly handles maneuvers like Cobra and inverted Immelmans, yet can be comfortably cruised at lower throttle settings, making it perfect for those transitioning from smaller jet sizes.
We're pleased to offer two versions of the AF Model F-22 Raptor: The Turbine version is available for pre-order now, while the EDF (105mm) version is undergoing extensive testing and evaluation, with its release just around the corner.

Let's see a SU57 Felon!
YES PLEASE!!!
Looks great! Lets see some flight demo of the EDF version!
It is currently In testing in HK. Will share once we get one in the states. Shouldn’t be too long of a wait.

Man that thing is sweet.
I'd love to get behind the sticks of that bird.
The Jet, the flying, and the aerial videography . . all Impressive. Who was flying the jet ?
Jeremy Solt and Kyler Solt. Jeremy is one of our team pilots and quality Testers.
@bananahobby when's it going to be ready to ship?
Quite a bit heavy for the size, if you ask me.
+ no vectored thrust, missed opportunity there.
And not a big fan of having the inner wing surfaces as slotted flaps. Can't do scale mixing with full span roll/pitch elevons. :'(
But hey, at least now we have a large foam Raptor. :')
I say a 90 mm F 86 or a large B 29 as Bsnana Hobby offers everything else.
Mmm nice.
meh. Thrust vectoring would have been nice. 18lbs on the turbine version- I wonder what the thrust to weight ratio is on the EDF version and how that compares to the Freewing 90mm 8S

What's the story behind the name “Project 195”?
There were only 195 F-22's produced as I recall so.....
You are correct, 195 produced, 8 test, 187 in service.
Will a ARf version be available
They are all ARF. The Jets will come ready for you to install turbine, receiver, Gyro and batteries for the turbine version and for the EDF version it will require a motor, ESC, receiver, and batteries. The reason the EDF version does not come with motor and ESC is to allow for everybody to choose exactly what they want to install inside of it just like the turbine versions.
Sounds like a turbine oh and edf!
Could I fit a 110mm in it?
Will be available in both 105mm EDF and Turbine. The EDF version will be here soon and the link will be added in the near future.
We already have a f22 90mm..... C'mon BH.... How about a large scale F-35 110mm
It's a turbine not edf
J-20 twin 64mm
Or twin 80
Or twin 80
J-35, the copycat version of F-35, twin 105mm❤
Or the 100-foot-tall, spy ballon version❤😂
J20 Mighty Dragon at $699 😀
J-35, the copycat version of F-35, mighy twin 105mm❤
Su 57
SU-57 will be really nice! Only LX models have it but out of production😢😢😢
@@MLOO123 nobody wants to make it
@@ps4kidgaming56 it's a shame. There are too many F-22 and F-35 in the markets from 50mm to 90mm edf versions.
Its isn't I don't like F-22. I have pre-owned the LX twin 70mm F-22, and currently the FlyFly F-22... They both flew great...just wanna see new models in the markets.👍
Well, id say that is gonna be a flop because there are already so many F22 models on the market.
Not a turbine foamy . I don't see one on the market
Well the biggest issue with the current f-22’s the modified turbine F-22’s is the lack of support in the horizontals. There is zero strength in that area which is extremely dangerous. The AF-Model version is solid and built for turbine speeds and forces. Two completely different aircraft.
@@bananahobby ok. I stand corrected. What size turbine is this designed for?
@@cwwisk 80-102. We suggest swiwin 80 or Kingtech 102 sized motors footage shown is with a swiwin 80.
@@bananahobby single or dual?
😢
Twin 80 or 90mm SU-34 Fullback.
