See, Herman isn't actually speaking in gibberish. He's warning you about Morgo's goals, and how he's going to bring everyone in the valley down into hell (the bath of screams.)
@@Stormimi Well, it's a bit complex, so imma give you a quick rundown on characters important to the MAIN story so far, since it's easier. There's more, but it's side stories, like Ra-Ra or BumBum. Queen - Used to be Preacher's wife and a local witch. She had a daughter with her husband (Amy) and became preggos with Red. She was apparently somehow a bad influence on the townsfolk, so eventually Sheriff made the call to execute her somehow. She's now the Queen of the Underworld, and she has cursed the townsfolk to repeat a certain week, in order to watch them suffer, as her offspring murders them in an endless time-loop. Red - Well, it's too long of an explanation. See Lakeview Cabin games, then take into consideration they're movies based on his actual story, but aren't entirely true. It's implied he has similar abilities to the 'upper-league'. Protagonist - The unborn child of Queen and Red, sent back from the Underworld to kill everyone, repeatedly, throughout countless time-loops. Morgo - A circus owner, who ended up in the Valley. His acts were inhumane and horrifying, so the townsfolk made a decision to kill him. He ended up in the Underworld, most likely tortured for a while and made it to 'upper-league', which basically means he's a demon who can go back to the Valley as he pleases. So he did and is back for vengeance. Amy - Queen's daughter, has been deemed unworthy to act as a part of the Curse. She possesses a magical 'persuasion' ability and plays a role in Morgo's attack on the town, if the Protagonist hasn't sided with him. Herman - A former illusionist in Morgo's circus, now high constantly because of Mushrooms, which apparently can grow out of his poop. He seems to have some limited supernatural abilities, as he was able to sense, that the Valley is a place of power, as well as being aware of the time-loop. Serves more of an exposition role than any active part in the story. The Sheriff - Well, he killed the witch, who became the Queen. He's also the Traveler you encounter after Morgo banishes his Sheriff self, as well as the old man living in the cabin on an island in the middle of the lake. It's implied he basically went from Sheriff to Traveler when he was banished from the Valley by Morgo, thanks to the permission given by either of the Queen's offspring (Amy or Protagonist) and then became the Old Man after decapitating the Queen in the Underworld in another possible ending. He's also the one who raised Amy up after her parents 'mysteriously disappeared'.
@TooLateToTheStory Best part, it's still kinda unfinished, like there's this whole pigman thing that doesn't really do anything yet, aside from it being possible to fight him. But yeah, it's convoluted xD
Have you tried bringing Amy there? If you remember, Amy also knows Morgo and will banish the Sheriff if you choose not to. Also I'd like to ask you about the power that Morgo claims isn't for you and how to give it to whoever it's for..
I don't believe Amy has a special dialogue but I'll check again. EDIT: She doesn't The power that isn't for you is for the person who works for Morgo during the week if you don't. You can get it by wearing said person's head...
Does anything happen if you never take any upgrades and kill only Amy? Do you still get asked to banish the sheriff even though you've never made any deal with Morgo?
You can't kill him so the only thing you can do is escape him by going into water or outrunning him with the moped or a coffee and/or energy drink. Note that the Sheriff will still be where you escaped him (visible if you use Morgo's map power) until midnight so you'll need to avoid where he is until midnight. It's also not very appreciated to be a wanted criminal so even then your reputation will be in shackles..
"Slow clap" didnt make sense until the sheriff came in. Up till that point i thought people were just randomly clapping

Why?

Thank you for slowing down with the subtitles. Made it far more enjoyable not having to watch at 50% speed.

Is she referring to the murders? That her "children" will keep killing in this town?
Yes! We are her child.
So can I have a quick summary of the lore?

Thanks! But the way the queen died was cause of convincing the preacher to cut her straight down the middle
It’s in the dreamcatchers

Love the sheriff tho
Thank you very much, I was looking for these types of videos and your channel was perfect
i feel so bad about poor bum bum i cant kill him when im in the game
Yeah, Morgo was a bit of an asshole even before he became a fly-monster thing
Yes but I’m sure being betrayed by everyone including his friend and then being tortured in the underworld didn’t do wonders for his sanity 😂😂
What if you kill everyone in town without sheriff being suspicious , and make it to Sunday when the Sheriff does his speech what happens
If you never visited Don, Sheriff's Applause ending.

I think you still get asked to banish Sheriff.

Just a coincidence, mörkö is "boogeyman" in Finnish :)

is it the same dialog if you eat the mushroom then wait and see Herman talk to Morgo?

I'm not sure which item you mean, but this dialogue occurs no matter which way you bring the person into the tent.
