    You bring so much joy in my life. I struggled with an ED for years and seeing someone like you who eats normally without counting calories and being obsessed by food makes me feel so comfortable

    For me it is difficult to eat anything unhealthy without feeling guilty. That's why I don't eat usually unhealthy foods but sometimes it's so annoying when I can't joy eating what I want

      Ronja you control how you’re feeling though! If you keep saying “I can’t enjoy eating what I want to” then of course that’s how you’re going to feel! It’s just like bing in a bad mood, you can choose to let whatever upset you totally ruin your day, or move on and choose to be happy!

    i always get kind of nervous when I see these kind of titles because some of the youtubers who train and have “cheat days” don’t eat enough on the days after. when I saw this video I was a bit worried tbh, but decided to watch it anyway and it was so nice to see that this wasn’t one of those and that you just went back to eating how you normally eat!

    I love the mindset you have around food! I’ve been working on trying to be more like you since I’ve found your channel a couple of months ago! Ive stopped weighing myself (I used to do it every day), and I no longer count calories and macros. I’m just trying to eat all the plants and have treats when I want them.     Honestly, during my recovery (from anorexia) you have helped me so much. I don't know if you know that but I think you've helped so many of us through hard times and I, and I think I can speak for all of us, can't thank you enough for that. 🧡 I really wish I could meet you one day and thank you in person, maybe VegFest 2019? 😏

    Love your “what I eat in a day videos”! It gives me motivation to eat healthy and not only that everything you eat is suuuper easy to make, love that!
    There was something that caught my attention in the beginning of your video when you woke up saying you keep having nightmares. I have a feeling this might have something to do with meditation. Just know I am not trying to diagnose you or anything but when you said that you keep having these vivid dreams it reminded of me not too long ago. I would constantly have nightmares and they were so weird and scary but I didn’t know why I kept having them. A random video popped up on my feed about what it really means when you meditate, just search here on YT and you’ll be amazed on what others are experiencing. Anyways I’ll stop there but look it up one of these days! ✨🙏🏼

      @@positivekarolina1260 Thank you!😶 Well when I first turned vegan I didn't eat enough and was quite underweight for a while but I have luckily managed to gain it back and now feel AMAZING!🤗 My parents were definitely against it from the start though (they keep telling me that I should make exeptions). I also feels like I'm in an 'elite group' of really friendly vegans so that's cool!😅❤❤

    Id love to chase the summer like you guy's. Always been a dream of mine to travel very frequently. Right now i "only" go to PR once a year which im grateful for. My only road block for traveling the world is that i have 2 big dogs that nobody would take care of for me for longer than 2 weeks. 😣 i may just do a travel the southern part of the country for now!     I made curry with rice noodles for our dinner tonight, used up all the veggies going past their prime, put a ton of greens in there too. Made crispy air fried no oil tofu to go on top (simply flavoured with tamari, ginger and garlic.😋 My Older daughters and hubby loved it, and it was my youngest daughter's first time trying tofu and rice noodles, albeit we shredded and mushed it good for her, as she's just getting to grips with chewing. She's already really into curries (she's a 7&3/4 month old vegan.)!😄
    I think her oatmeal is her favourite meal though, we have various combinations every morning, always with organic full fat coconut yoghurt, a pinch of cinnamon, a large piece of banana, various fruits (prunes, mango, blueberries, papaya, etc) ground flaxseed and some multivitamin and probiotic drops, although mine's made with water, hers is made with breast milk. My favourite combination is oatmeal topped with blueberries and raspberries, coconut yoghurt, a little flaxseed, and a drizzle of pure maple syrup.👌She also really likes having Hawaiian spirulina mixed in with oatmeal, she's like the unfussiest bubba with food! 😅

    One of my favourite oatmeal combinations is zesting lemon peel into the oats as their cooking and having it with blueberries or blackberries. So yum!

    Maddie there is vegan red curry at Pic n Pay as well as Checkers. Or, just google some asian markets in CT... they usually have loads of vegan curries

    I really want to take a moment out of my life and write a comment to you My favourite youtuber.
    I'm so thankful that you are there, that The day happened when you started making videos. You are sharing The vegan message so well and I've learned so much . You are so nice persons and it's just best to watch the videos you Make. I have had an anorexia few years ago and it was super hard. I started a vegan diet. I have made mistakes and I'm far from perfect but I'll never turn Back . I'm so healthy and also happier than I've been in many years. You dont even no how much it helps when you speak about relaxing round food and not stressing too much about it. Keep going with specially that because I know someone else finds it helpful too. From now I'm starting a heathy life like yours but I'm afraid I don't know a lot about nutrition I mean I don't know what food has protein etc How did you learnt so much? Did u study for that?     I love this Thai brand of rice noodles you're using. Didn't know they exported to South Africa. I recently got a very good deal on them, 16 baht per pack for the regular ones (brown rice and red rice varieties) and 25 baht per pack for rice noodles with chia seeds. Before they used to be overpriced as "health" food (50-60 baht per pack).

    Hey Maddie I hope you see this, just wanted to say thank you for your comments about food and restriction. I am struggling with weight loss recovering from Binge Eating Disorder and had a binge before bed last night. I was literally trying to decide how I wanna restrict when you started talking about it and now I am about to go have some vegan yogurt and blueberries

    I love the way your oats look so good! I've never had amazing oats, but I do like putting a couple tablespoons in my smoothies and it makes them so thick and tasty. ♥ 😘

    I eat a lot of anti-inflammatory foods since my blood tests show I've had elevated inflammation markers for 5 years but they're too low to diagnose rheumatism. Turmeric is good but i find the capsaicin from spicy peppers to be a better general purpose spice. Both are good, too. Then again I also like it in everything from chocolate to soup to curry to burritos to tofu and potato scramble. Cumin, ginger, garlic, cinnamon...

    I totally agree with what u said about the healthy mindset. I lost 15 lbs with a really strict diet & workout but during that time I was always in bad mood cus I couldn't eat much as I wanted. I didn't even enjoy workout during the time when I was on a strict diet. Now I eat normally & workout regularly, and I still stay lean.. But I have to admit It is actually not easy to go through that "unhealthy mindset". But once u let it go, you can really enjoy your life with a positive mentality.
