See I'm a collector myself and I've spent a lot of time deliberating where to get a good quality Big Gold from, the detail on that is absolutely incredible. When you look at the one WWE Shop sells its not to bad at all and there is rumours of them bringing out a more detailed version sometime later in 2023. However after seeing this I think I finally know where I might end up buying from. Truly what awesome belt you have. Incredible.

Yep, if you look at super close pics of the original belt in the book, it had marks like that.

How does this compare to the fandu lux? The lettering looks similar to me.
Oh this leaves Fandu in the dust. The Fandu luxe is probably the best replica for the money, especially on the lower end. But Classic Shields' Crumrine, especially the Premium, is just on a whole other level.
I'd avoid the Fandu Luxe if you haven't got one already. It's not uncommon for them to tarnish rather quickly. Every belt, but especially any replica, is going to show wear and tear like that eventually, but some Luxes were tarnishing in a matter of months. I imagine it's a manufacturing defect that to my knowledge hasn't been corrected. If I ever get the itch to buy a Big Gold(not likely, I'm more into the Ron myself, the criminally underrated Reggie Parks WCW belt from 1991), I'd definitely go with a budget crumrine from Classic Shields. Definitely, you can get anything you want on the nameplate. And I am by no means rich, btw. I had to sell a few things to afford the Ultimate, and then sell the Ultimate and downsize my collection to afford the Premium.
@@donnylovedbowling I definitely can't put down 2-3,000 dollars or however much this thing costs. I wouldn't buy the budget version either since I can't handle that flat rope border.
I've thought about getting the Fandu Luxe version until I can get the CS since it's probably the closest to this one, but I've heard complaints about the strap being too stiff and the plates tarnishing quickly.
I wonder what other customization is available. For instance, the gold on this belt is too yellow IMO. I'd prefer a, um, "lighter" gold since the gold didn't pop that much in the Nitro era. If not, I could probably get used to it. And if I am able to get this belt someday, I'm also considering asking them to not gold plate the "World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion" letters (since the gold had come off them by the mid-90s) or the continents on the globe (again, it was no longer gold at that point), both for accuracy and because I prefer the aesthetic. I'm not sure if they'd be willing to do this.
You should consider the WWE Shop one that is coming out soon, it looks amazing.

@@TheOfficialReport haven't bought one, but I did email Classic Shields a few days ago. They told me that you have to put down a $20 down payment, then pay the rest once the belt is completed.
I don't know how long it takes to complete it since they didn't answer that question, but most sources have said it took 1-3 years before they received their belts.
