Super Paper Mario was my first paper Mario game lol. When I was young I put a heavy object on the right button so I would run on the wheel and I just went and did something else until I got like 20k rubees and then found out how to progress correctly 😂😭😭

Apparently that part where tippi recognizes dimentio was a mistranslation. Originally she simply says he is a minion of bleck, but the translation ended up making that sound vague and mysterious.
Where did you find this information? Not that I question you, I just genuinely want to know!

It just might happen: remember that Dementio is still out there.
We don't know why Luigi is the perfect host for the Chaos Heart, but I think I found a good reason as to why that is.
After the Chaos Heart appears, Luigi interferes, and jumps on the Chaos Heart, making it react.
And that's why he is the perfect host. He is the first person who touched it after it appeared, before Bleck got the chance to do so.
Bleck still had the Heart and could still use it, but he wasn't the perfect host because he didn't touch it first.
Either that or the Chaos Heart's reaction is because the perfect host, Luigi, touched it, and we still don't know why he is this perfect host.
Weird thing is that a lot of lore around Luigi at this time suggested he had some issues about being in Mario's shadow all the time. That's why his Final Smash in Brawl was so weird; the trophy for it says he's literally weaponizing all his pent-up negativity.
So I guess if there's any reason for Luigi to be the Heart's host... it'd have something to do with that.

This game is the best one imo.
Its villains are terrific, the jokes were hilarious, Tippi was interesting, and the gimmick of flipping between dimensions is amazing! Also, O'Chunks.

Hot take: Super Paper Mario deserves an HD remake more than Thousand Year Door. I feel like now that it has a dedicated and passionate amount of people who play it, SPM really deserves a second chance.
I want a remake of both. At the very least I want better post game than what we got for super
Super Paper mario was my first Paper mario game, so seeing it being remade on the Nintendo Switch would be a dream come true.

yea, it's the only paper mario game ive ever had the chance of playing and although the story is great i think we can all agree that the gameplay and bossfights need some serious reworking. the final boss is so easy to cheese it's disappointing

The game is great for anyone. Preferably, people who are old enough to get the concept and theme of the game but it’s also easy enough that a little kid can beat it.
As I said, the game is easy, but fun. I find it funny how there literally a section where you pay of debt, and play in a dating sim. The boss in chapter 6 is literally defeating 100 guys, and low key, this game can also be terrifying with how Mimi transforms into literal spider and how you realize that Underwhere is actually pretty dark and dreadful. Have you listened to the soundtrack you get when going into the river?
It is simplistic in its 2D platform but also breaks new RPG ground by adding in other functions and is dare I argue, the only mario game with the best storyline. For once, the game isn’t about saving peach or anyone for that matter but saving all of the world, literally. Learning about the different kinds of love and in the end, we see a story between two forbidden lovers. Sounds kind of cliche and cringe but the way they do it makes tipi’s and count bleck’s story very beautiful.
I wish this game was more popular loved the story since my first playthrough and always wanted to talk about it with others

Also at 7:02 I don't know if Mimi is actually a robot because she doesn't really act like one, but she could have the ability to turn into a robotic spider.
Or you could be really not fighting Mimi fighting a robot which is explains why she appears in the later chapters
Kirby lore is my specialty. I know the RPG Monger did a Kirby lore video. Also Meteorz has a series called What is Kirby Canon. But I would love to see some Kirby lore

Great.....now I have to play this game....AGAIN
This was a fun game. It had a rather good story, although there was a bit too much of it and dialogue at times...idk though, I felt kind of disappointed and confused when I first played it. It was the only paper Mario game I've ever played aside from the original. Sadly I can't afford to get every console that comes out 😭 I really want to play TTYD but not only is it hard to find and ridiculously expensive, but I've never had a GameCube and apparently there's no such thing as being able to find a cheap, functional Nintendo console out there anymore. The price of being able to play old games has gone up and up with no end in sight and that's just criminal. Anyway, I would like to revisit Super Paper Mario with a fresh perspective, if only I can replace my stolen Wii system and games without too much expense!
The best part is that, for all this goes into, there's so much more it's missing or just barely scratching the surface of. For just a brief taste:
. Merlumina was the flat-out leader of the Tribe of Ancients when she was alive, helped with every major contribution of the Sages, and was so intense in her love affairs that it somehow resulted in a threat to the safety of multiple worlds, multiple times.
. The Tribe of Darkness was almost certainly not founded by the Lone Survivor who defeated the Pixl Queen, that account and those of the Tribe of Darkness are drastically different on nearly every detail, on top of the ToD's involvement in Flopside.
. Thudley was drastically changed in localization, having been a hip-obsessed wine connoisseur sexyman in the original Japanese.
. Dimentio didn't know Tippi at all (mistranslated line), and is more likely to have written the LIGHT Prognosticus than the Dark one.
No matter how much lore you expect to find in the depths of this game, you will always be surprised. *Nobody* knows the half of it.

@Paper Mario Artist I don't dislike or hate Sticker Star. I just see it as below the other games, mainly for it's story (or lack thereof, in my opinion), me not liking the soundtrack as much as other games such as SPM and TOK, and the battle system.
But It's not a bad game.

Indeed the best villain in the history of video games to be put disrespected like this sickens me. I demand they remake the video and say his name properly in all of its glory.
Pretty good video but the audio of the different people is not normalized, and many facts are repeated throughout
I don't think there's any evidence for Dimentio being related to the figures in the history of the Tribe of Ancients. He's not the Pixl creator magician's son. Also, Dimentio being familiar to Tippi isn't present in the original Japanese script. Frankly, a lot of the material in this video is sloppy, just regurgitating wiki material.
The first time I played this game, I felt the ending was bittersweet, but overall happy. Growing older, however, made me realize how poorly Nastasia was treated. How her self-image was truly destroyed by Blumiere. Yes, I know he sees the error of his ways at the end and becomes "good," but I can't help but be filled with rage as he disappears to live with Timpani for eternity. Not an apology for poor Nastasia, not even a proper goodbye. I know she put herself in this situation willingly but I can't help but feel she's been slighted! Her tears in the ending cutscene contrast with her curt demeanor, bringing one to the viewer's own eye... It's a perfectly written ending yes, but one that I grow to view as devoid of joy.
Bleck deserved far, far worse.
