  • Most people agree that coffee has health benefits. Reviewing the literature, we see potential benefits for heart health, metabolism, cognition, and other facets of human wellness. It's enough to have all of us ordering another dose of cold brew at the coffee shop, but wait! On its own, coffee has a lot to offer, but we should all take pause when making additions to natural black brew. The creamer you add to your morning cup of joe may not be the best thing for your body, especially if you choose non-dairy creamer options widely available in the marketplace today. Watch this before using coffee creamer again.

I don’t because they don’t sell it in Colombia; I mean they do, but not with all the choice of flavors in the US…. they just sell the regular flavor but it’s imported from mexico ur US and its expensive. Not worth it… I use regular milk or heavy cream.

It's not the cream that's making you fat. I only use half and half or 18% or even 35% in my coffee and tea and have been eating bacon, eggs, meats, cheese, olives (and olive oil) ,vegetables, nuts, and daily dark chocolate (70% or higher - usually 85/90%) for a while now and have actually lost over 50lbs. It's the SUGAR, simple carbs and processed foods you need to cut. Real butter, real cream are fine ;)

@Scarface Usually Sealtest from Costco. Since my post, I have reduced red meats a little, but still eat plenty of fish, chicken, cheese, nuts and eggs. I think avoiding sugary and overly processed foods makes a big difference, and NOT eating all the time (avoid snacking).

High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Corn, Fructose. Those ingredients and some more are the culprits in Diabetes. General media and in text books aren't telling everyone about those harmful ingredients that triggers early diabetes. Only few doctors here says it's very dangerous, especially in infants

I think that regular milk or half-and-half is way better than creamer.
There are some exceptions, however. There’s a company that is called nut pods and they make plant-based creamer with clean ingredients.
Coffee mate now has a bliss line that only contains milk and cream along with sugar and flavoring.
The simple truth brand at Kroger only carries a couple of flavors, but the creamer is also made with mostly milk, sugar, and heavy cream.
Are usually stick to full fat organic milk. I forgot to mention that the simple truth creamer is also organic.

High fat cream IS actually good for you. As are butter, eggs, bacon...We've been lied to for so long. Take away the fat and most manufactuers will replace it with sugar to make the product taste better.. Instead of sugar, I sweeten with monfruit or stevia (with NO Maltodextrin) is a great choice for a good coffee.
