It all comes down to how much you use it & abuse it. If your someone who will work on it yourself, you’ll be able to keep it going for quite awhile. I bought all of the stuff to shim up the gearbox & got spare nylon gears & other goodies to run it reliably at a slightly improved stage. Mine still works fine about 2 years later . But I hardly ever use it. That’s exactly why I didn’t drop $500 + on one. All of my mates spent well over $ 500 on there’s & still had problems & dropped more cash on it for more upgrades . And still never use them . I’m sure there’s decent 2nd hand ones around too.
