Dusty Baker joins to talk retirement life, his role in inventing the High Five, and awe the guys with stories about Hank Aaron and Satchel Paige.

Draymond is the perfect candidate for Inside the nba he has multiple championships like Shaq, a great trash talker like Chuck, and an over glorified role player like Kenny 😂😂😂

Dont get it twisted, Draymond is definitely aint no scrub. Multiple DPOY selections consistently is super underrated.
Thinking Draymond is an over-glorified role player is the mindset that keeps ppl like you from understanding basketball.
He’s not just an over glorified role player but he’s not a star either. He would be no one without Steph and Klay. His problem is similar to Kenny in thinking he’s greater than he is. And lying about being a dirty player kicking and stepping on people. He needs to acknowledge he’s a great player but he’s not the king of the warriors and he needs to embrace the role he’s played without embellishing his accomplishments or downplaying his dirtiness. Too many NBA players think too highly of themselves. Chuck is one of the only ones that knows exactly where he stands and is real about it and it’s one of the reasons he is most beloved.

Dusty Baker is such a legend man. I could listen to these stories all day. What a career and quite literally one of the truest definitions of legendary career we have ever seen. Both as a player and manager. Truly a 1 of 1. Great interview and we back in the steam room!!!
Dusty is such an interesting guy wow! I’m in SF I moved to this country in 1993 after Bonds and Dusty just got here. I fell in love with baseball while Dusty was our manager…I can still remember him taking the ball from Russ Ortiz. Then Scott Spizio took Felix Hernandez deep. So wished Dusty and Barry could have gotten rings here. The Giants got 3 after and I was thrilled Dusty got his. He’s a class act and great baseball mind.

Astro fan here - Dusty really was a blessing for the Astros. The majority of fans love Dusty, but the blogger and Twitter culture is really brutal. I don't blame him for wanting to get out now. Do we have to wait 5 years for the Hall of Fame? Seems unfair to older dudes who retire in their 70s.

Sir Charles is looking healthier and younger. There were times in the past 5 years when it seemed like the inevitability of Father Time was coming on strong and he was looking dazed, fogged and a bit off color. He's looking sharp, happy and healthy. I love to see NBA players live healthy lives, live long and live with poise and conviction unto their old days.

Re: in-season tournament:
I'm all for it too, BUT I feel there's a missed opportunity tho: i feel like after group stage (knockout phase), West and East should've met already. Now it's ONLY in finals, like NBA play-offs, so it kinda feels like a condensed version of the play-offs, instead of something entirely new. 🤷♂️
BASKETBALL IS TEAM SPORT TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIP SO EVERY PLAYERS ARE RESPECTED AND IMPORTANT. Many are jealous of the camaderie of the Warriors because the Warriors fans acknowleged every past and present players contributions. GSW is the greatest NBA organization.❤❤❤❤❤❤
