Great analysis. Rightly said that the exceptions are being treated as norms.

I am expressing my solidar with Sri Bhushan. Now it has been feltis that the freedom of speech and it's area has been synchronised .And there would be conflict in fundamental right to expression with the contempts of courts act.I think ,the issue of dissent should be widely accepted .

On the 15th of August 1947 we got ' Independence ' but not ' Freedom ' . The nation missed the opportunity to uphold & establish the supremacy of the latter in Gopalan's case .

"Liberty in general phrase and abrogation of liberty in marginal note".as we celebrated the independence day today but the question lingers in my mind, do we really got the independence?

I would have afforded solidarity to the Contemnor over the controversial tweets, had this not been Mr. Prashant Bhushan. In my view, while dealing with the contemnor, the motive of the contemnor is of paramount importance and its well known, Mr. Bhushan always try to criticise the institution in a well informed manner with the intrinsic objective of maligning the Judiciary and to deter Judges by showing the armour of fundamental right of speech and expression. This type of motive is anathema to independence of Judiciary. I severly criticize it.

This is a good talk and shows yet again how hard Babasaheb Ambedkar fought to keep the constitution pro-people and how it has been twisted by the brahminical judiciary to serve the interests of the brahminical empire of India.

Prashant Bhushan cheered when people with whom he disagreed were punished for contempt of court. Judges may be ideologically inclined, we don't know but rumors can be very dangerous. It will be better if Judges were appointed for life to remove any political partisanship, provided that the executive is given full powers of making such appointment according to ideological inclinations. This will ensure that judiciary to be in line with the popular ideological conscience as well as prevent the judiciary from being political partisanship.

In particular P Bhushan cheered when Justice Karnan was jailed without giving him chance of being heard. Double standards based on caste as usual. Justice is only for safeguarding the interests of uppercaste.
