IMO, Milroe's biggest deficiency is processing. He has to set protections. He has to get them out of a bad play and into good play. Hitting the hot route consistently.
Yes the offensive line wasn't good, but Michigan didn't respect Milroe's ability to process quickly. I don't know if that becomes a strengh. I hope Milroe does turn it into a strength
I'm guessing they will run the Jalen Hurts Eagles offense this season.
Honestly there are many college quarterbacks in the same position as Milroe when it comes to having that ability. We as fans just became more used to that because Bryce had to constantly save Bill O'Brian from looking bad with play calling. They're not supposed to have to change the play that much with a coordinator who knows what he's doing. Him developing that skill though definitely would help and really just working on consistently making the short throws. Bad blocking makes all those things go out the window for any quarterback (example being Bryce Young at the panthers). I do agree though, if he becomes faster with progressions, then he'll be unstoppable

Huge Milroe fan. I'm skeptical of the comment. Milroe is more of a Jalen Hurts type of guy. This guy doesn't have the explosivity and strength of Milroe. He could be a better passer if he is more like Tua than Milroe yes. I'm team Milroe man. That's our guy. I expect that he will only improve under Deboer. If we had snapped the ball correctly on a handful of snaps last season the entire football world would have a different respect for Jalen Milroe. That's upsetting.
I like the recruit's length, his arm, and his elusivity. A lot of his receivers get behind the coverage... He makes them cover the entire field.

Or as Deboer says, run the plays around Jalen. they’re definitely not afraid of him throwing accurately anything other than 30 yards. I think you’re underestimating the fact that Ty Simpson is a true dual-threat quarterback who can accurately throw a ball and has as strong of an arm as Milroe does. if you remember correctly, Hurts was replaced and had to go to another school to start.

Anyone can look good in high school, but can he translate that to the college level? (Ty Buchner being an example). Milroe is still undefeated against sec teams.
