    This is honestly insane and completely changes the game of interior sketches!

    Thank you for sharing! I’m running to buy an IPad Pro tomorrow. I’m leaving for my first deployment Saturday. In your opinion, should I dart straight off just using Xact mobile?

    What exactly is needed to do this? I’m new to using xactimate and this seems so much more efficient than sketching by hand and translating to laptop

    Thanks for the video. I’m just getting started and trying to figure out what kind of devices I will need. Do you use a laptop? In addition to your iPad? Or is this a complete solution? Thank you.

    I just got the mobile app and have been messing around with it. It’s not as smooth as your demonstration. It doesn’t want to register those squares for the walls. Could it be that I’m using my iPhone and not an iPad?

    When you are sketching your fourth wall you can click a spot on the ground and drag it all the way over to connect it to your existing walls.

    Hey thanks for the video. I literally started using Lidar today and I have the same iPad. It's fairly easy to use. Are you an insurance adjuster?

      I'm literally brand new at this hired on as an Outside Adjuster for an insurance company. They don't teach how to use x8 mobile but I invested in the iPad Pro 12.9 and just got it set up. Haven't even used it on a live claim yet. But I already feel it's a game changer. This is my last week riding with a mentor then I'm on my own. First ride along a guy was using an engineering pad to sketch then go back to the office and then use X8. The next ride along with another mentor used their desktop x8 and walked back and forth using their laser to measure each wall and manually sketching.
      Then I watched a TH-cam video of a guy using the laser and the X8 mobile but he'd sketch then use laser to auto adjust the measurements.
      Now watching your video... 😮

    If you're measuring a 20 unit condo complex, do you actually think this is faster than old school laser measuring and taking pencil sketches. Asking as an 18 year flood adjuster.

    • @darrelldouglas9589
      @darrelldouglas9589  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes definitely faster…..gonna be slower at first but after you get through the learning curve you will speed up. Usually your condos are the same just mirrored. I have a good friend that just got his RCBAP and he wants me to train him to speed up his learning curve…..time is money!!!
