I have employees that are losing the sketch when they upload the project to the cloud. Any tips? I don't have access to program to trouble shoot myself
I thought this was a great idea, it looked great when I was on site. Now that I'm home and ready to enter line items I'm wondering what happened to all the rooms that I sketched? I used my iPad to sketch 2 separate properties today and I have one room for the first one and 3 rooms for the second. There should be an auto-save feature or a warning that says nothing you do is saved.
There's some work that needs to be done on the intuitiveness of Mobile. But they make improvements all the time. ABSOLUTELY let them know your feedback on the app. Also, they do have trainings for Xactimate Mobile at xactware.com and AdjusterTVplus.com will be coming out with some training for Xactimate Mobile later this year.
Did you check your Sketch layers?? I've had some sketches become a "new Level" and I had to double check them. Otherwise you may have to verify when youre finishing your sketch. If you skips steps or rush it may not send. I've been using Mobile for about 1 month now as an IA and its night and day difference when using AR Sketch on interior claims. Worth the learning hassle.
@@jonathangacke9138 I’ve had that happen also. I just think they tried to make it do too much before they figured out how to just do the basics. I think it would be better to just work with the laser for measurements and then let it do AR magic to map the doors/windows/cabinets. But it makes you pick one or the other.
So are you to the point that analog sketches and your digital camera have gone the way of the dodo bird. It is kind of amazing but simple point and shoot cameras are nearing the price of a smart phone as they become obsolete.
