Excellent video! Very good explanation. Now I understand the difference between some and any beyond the cases of sentences affirmative, negative, and interrogative. Thanks!
Haha well done guys at BBC, I enjoyed this lesson very much. However I feel like I dont wanna ever never take part to those quiz's, otherwise I would end up like the poor Nick!
I'd like something from BBC Learning English team, please keep on creating grammar videos such this,we need this things more as for me and has to talk in the names of others...thanks
I saw these examples on a website: ' People don't buy fruit at the butcher's ' & ' I buy fish on Mondays'. I'd like to know, why don't they use 'ANY' & ' SOME'?

We pay attention to the material nouns in general. The narrator wants to say that people buy fish, not milk or something
good!
awesome :)
Thanx Britishs
set loose the crickets what does that mean?
There is a bug called "Cricket". So, he meant to let the crickets go and (probably) eat Nick.
A cruel result for the losers ; no wonder ,I am always down the dump ! I don't like it ,please Will ,treat the losers with some compassion .
Perfecto
