Just got this pedal and played with it for two days. Holy moly an Awesome pedal! This is one of the best tape delays I have played with. With the added looper this has become my favorite box. At first I was slightly disappointed because switching straight from delay to looper mode kept the delay on unless you bend over and turn the blend knob down which is a pain to get a dry guitar signal in loop mode. I fortunately received the 02000 series model which lets you do this. If you have a 01800 model the delay is always on it either mode. (You can send it in for an update if you have a older model number). If this bothered you like it did me, the fix is an EXP pedal. With the update This thing REALLY shines with an expression pedal allowing you to fade in the delay(depth knob) in both looper and delay mode and still have your dry guitar signal played. This lets you record the looper with either the delay ON or OFF or DELAYED SWELLS for some serious live looping possibilities. The best part. Flanged stereo delays. Ping pong heaven. For 250$ New this is the only pedal I’ve seen do all these things. I’ve looked awhile for a pedal like this. For that price I don’t think this can be beat. AND no I’m not paid or affiliated in any way. It’s just THAT tasty a pedal
Pete, you are an amazing musician & guitarist. Those opening songs that you play to go through the different sounds are mind-blowing. I have an insatiable urge to continue hearing all the pedals you've reviewed.
I totally agree. Delay demos so often are just going from slow dreamy soundscapes, and honestly I don't even make it to the feedback sections of those videos half the time because I literally fall asleep to those slow soothing sounds. Good if that's your thing, but we need more Delay demos like this. This was FUN and shows what a pedal like this can really bring to the table creatively.
Hey Pete, another great video. You're hitting them out of the park one after another. Glad you're keeping the situation so lively for everyone. Rock on!
Great review Pete. Some of the sounds reminded me of old sci fi TV series where the sound designer needed a computer the size of a room to create out of this world sound effects. In a day were we have lost a sound innovator in Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk it shows how far the world of sound design has come in 50 years.
Great demo. I already have a Mooer Reecho delay and an RC-5 looper but the combination makes sense. By the way, great use of the Panavise. I have one just like it.
Hey Pete, great demo as usual. I had to comment about Blair's kit as it sounds bloody fantastic. Never seen the mounted kick head tom but it sounds incredible. Cheers..!
Great home run demo, Pete! I just bought 2 Keeley pedals (DDR and DynaTrem) and now the ECCOS is going to be next. Killer sounds and features in that ECCOS pedal.
Great work Pete, there are so many excellent pedals available and Keely is certainly among them I have several different ones. Still it takes skill to make the most of any piece of gear and you have that in droves
Great use of open strings man! And that section from 0:48-1:07, Just beautiful Pete! WOW... I could listen to that part on loop for a while buddy! Just so good! Ending section is great as well! Keep up the great music and work you do. Hope you are well.
I love my eccos. It’s killer. Didn’t know that trick about the faster delay and how it reacted when you hold the tap button. I’ve only used that for longer delay sounds. Cheers man
Pete, I wasn't familiar with your work until very recently (I don't know how/why)....You literally have the coolest content on here. I now find myself waiting for the new Thorn video notification. Seriously whether it's gear demos, playing techniques, or just guitar philosophy I think what you do is awesome. You have great enthusiasm for music and always keep things new and fresh, loved the VH amp overview! Watching this stuff inspires me to play and annoy the wife. Keep rocking buddy 👍
Hi Pete, can you upload tabs of the lick at 5.03, it is mind-blowing! I have another question too: how do you record your interviews? Thanks and keep rocking man!
Man, the first two minutes into this are absolutely mental! That's better than 99,9 percent of all the sh*te they play on the radio every day.. Just killer stuff. Oh, and you're not helping with the GAS that I already had for this pedal, thx! Best tape style delay out there?
Another must have pedal ,thanks for all your hard work in these videos . What do you think of the Origin Marshall amp series ? And how would you dial in the amp head on a 50' or 20 watt . Thanks again 😎
Anyone pedal junkies have advice for "The Paradox of Choice" when it comes to creative situations like recording.....I can get overwhelmed with so many options but I love collecting and having those options :)
Hey Pete, do you listen to any Phil Keaggy? Rosemary kinda sounds Keaggy-ish. The song is very smooth and relaxing but if you stop relaxing you start paying attention to it.... you smoking it all over the place bro! LOL! Thanks for the song man
Great stuff as always! Pete Thorn is the guitar nerd's hero! Lets show him some love by hitting the like button, leave a comment and subscribe. It's a great way to support these artists.
Hey Pete! You should definitely make an album with the music you make on your demos.. they are always complete or almost complete tracks and great music!
I think Robert walked away with a huge smile on his face after this demo, Pete. Wow!
And I'm back again for another smile! What a treat eh?!
Many, Many thanks for making such a brilliant sound demo Pete! The playing and composition were out of this world fun and inspiring!
Thanks Robert!!!

I run this pedal into my SA collider and I couldnt be happier. I feel so complete when it comes to delays.
Great pedal indeed! Also one of my favorite demo-songs you ever made =D
radio DJ: you're listening to FM 100.3, *KPTR*
caller: pete thorn radio rules man! 👍
Pete, you are an amazing musician & guitarist. Those opening songs that you play to go through the different sounds are mind-blowing. I have an insatiable urge to continue hearing all the pedals you've reviewed.
This demo really lets ECCOS off it’s leash in a way that I hadn’t seen before. Really unique!

I got it and it's my fav ! at least right now ! Lots of fun !
Hey Pete, another great video. You're hitting them out of the park one after another. Glad you're keeping the situation so lively for everyone. Rock on!
Your intro songs are always so good !
That intro bit from 2:30- close was so 80s new wavy rock. Loved it!
I'm not shopping for pedals. I just want to hear the cool demo songs. This was a good one.
1:23 craaaazy! GOD BLESS YOU!!

Sounds amazing with the live drummer
Yay, real drums with a real live drummer!! Great demo of a very nice sounding and versatile echo/looper.
Excellent use of a looper (and all the rest of course)
This pedal is amazing and has a million different sounds. I just wish it had more presets!
That final part of the intro song really reminded me of Robert fripps playing
Mine's on order... like 3 weeks ago from a dealer. Haha. Can't wait!
This video it's going to be an instant classic! One of my PT fav vids ever!
Great demo. I already have a Mooer Reecho delay and an RC-5 looper but the combination makes sense. By the way, great use of the Panavise. I have one just like it.
2:34. OMG that was a great riff!
That was some Gamalon shit at 2:34.
Nice job Pete!
Pete!!!!!!i'msure you're on your next album!!!!
Hey Pete, great demo as usual. I had to comment about Blair's kit as it sounds bloody fantastic. Never seen the mounted kick head tom but it sounds incredible. Cheers..!
Love my Eccos! It’s the first delay that really felt at home from the first time I used it.
This is the most creative demo I’ve ever seen. Killer song and showed off the pedal so well. Much love Pete!
Thanks!
The tone and playing around 2:30 reminds me a lot of Trevor Rabin circa 90125.
Lastest in a growing list of stuff I have bought based on Pete's demo.
Great home run demo, Pete! I just bought 2 Keeley pedals (DDR and DynaTrem) and now the ECCOS is going to be next. Killer sounds and features in that ECCOS pedal.
Strymon Deco also does tape flange and stereo modulation
Best demo off Keeley Eccos in internet so far!!!! Woow the intro song it's amazing using so many features of the pedal, thanks Pete!!
Thanks Jordi!
You can tell by this demo that the pedal has been very well fine tuned.
Man this pedal sounds great.
That was so cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool....
Holy crap! Are you having fun or what, Pete? This guy can freakin' play and create with the best of them!
Thank u!
The intro song is really catchy! And that chromatic tritones lick... wow! Great tones also obviously!
Great tune. I loved it.
Great work Pete, there are so many excellent pedals available and Keely is certainly among them I have several different ones. Still it takes skill to make the most of any piece of gear and you have that in droves
Effing cool intro Pete! I think a great title to that tune would be "Something's Up" Fantastic demo as always 👍
Great use of open strings man! And that section from 0:48-1:07, Just beautiful Pete! WOW... I could listen to that part on loop for a while buddy! Just so good! Ending section is great as well! Keep up the great music and work you do. Hope you are well.
Thank u!!

Great playing, cool tune and pedal. Kudos
Great, it’s going to take me twenty years to figure out how to use this pedal...!!!! Dude, you make it look too easy.!!
dude, it won't take that long. Keeley pedals are VERY intuitive. you'll be rolling in minutes.
SeanPierceJohnson
Cool, need to get on the web thing and order..!! Just has two simple effects that do way more than I thought.!!
Thanks dude.!
Was thinking about making a video about this today- how to learn new gear without getting overwhelmed
Pete Thorn I was thinking about this too...
Pete Thorn
Looking forward to Class 101....👍🏼
Awesome Demo and playing Effects sounds bit like Boston spaceship sounds. So many sounds cheers
That was a mother of an intro!

As usual, such a great demo! Love the real drums :) thanks again for offering super high quality playing and audio on this great pedal. Keep it up.
Such a cool intro jam!!!
Another great demo video. Keep up the good work
Haven’t heard that buzz saw yngwie sound since the 80’s when I used to do it with a boss dm-2
Great sounds! Reminds me a bit of Alex Lifeson's solo album "Victor"
Best playing I can recall from you, man. Me thinks you might be taking advantage of the lockdown. lol
Hi Pete, can you upload tabs of the lick at 5.03, it is mind-blowing! I have another question too: how do you record your interviews? Thanks and keep rocking man!
Exquisite!, Pete.
I suggest every one to watch also the rjm board video that PT made a few years ago. Monstrous tone and music
Looks cool. Thanks Pete.
Man, the first two minutes into this are absolutely mental! That's better than 99,9 percent of all the sh*te they play on the radio every day.. Just killer stuff. Oh, and you're not helping with the GAS that I already had for this pedal, thx! Best tape style delay out there?
Killer demo man!! Such a fun and inspiring pedal!!
This pedal or El Capistan? What would you recommend each one for?
Great demo... as usual
Sounds great! ..it’s interesting throughout intro
WOW ! Always killer intro riffs... Keep up the good job my Lord :D
SICK as usual! Im sold.
Banger. And Blair, blovely
Forget the pedal....that was a great composition! Ok....the pedal was cool too.
Pedal is wild

The Strymon Deco has that😉😜🤘
See, I knew it ha ha
Another must have pedal ,thanks for all your hard work in these videos .
What do you think of the Origin Marshall amp series ? And how would you dial in the amp head on a 50' or 20 watt . Thanks again 😎
The Deco has some mod on the repeats that’s flanger-y!
Great review. Thanks Pete! Is it Sunday yet :-)
2:33 min Great Run,Yeah.😊
5:05 again😊
Killer pedal and demo, Pete! But we knew this. ;-)
Hey Pete sounds awesome that pedal sounds great ... is it plugged into the amp and run to your computer or what..thanks once again for the great video
I used my Suhr PT 100 Brainworx plug-in for most of this. With the pedal run in front of my recording interface
LOL! Thanks for the song man
Thanks Roy, A few people have mentioned Phil with regards to my playing and I really need to listen to him I haven’t really checked him out!
If you going to check out any Phil Keaggy acoustic listen to the album called the wind and the wheat
Eccos, DD-200 or El Capistan?
Can the Eccos do a nice clean delay / crisp EP delay sound too? (would love to replace the Timeline with this...)
Somewhere in the middle of the tone control it’s pretty neutral. But it’s always got some tape color
Wow
Great stuff as always! Pete Thorn is the guitar nerd's hero! Lets show him some love by hitting the like button, leave a comment and subscribe. It's a great way to support these artists.
Thanks Darryl!
Never made it to the pedal demo. Just kept replaying the intro music specifically 1:30 to end.
Thanks for listening :)
Hey Pete! You should definitely make an album with the music you make on your demos.. they are always complete or almost complete tracks and great music!
